Backside boardslide is the basic raislide in skateboarding. Go little bit faster than usual parallel to the rail. Set up your foot like an ollie, but put your frontfoot more towards to the nose. Ollie and turn 90 degrees. As soon as you turn 90 degrees, you'll land like a boardslide. When you're on the rail, don't lean too back, or too forward. If you lean too back, you'll fall backward, and if you lean too forward, your board will stick on the rail and you won't be able to slide. So just try find your balance when you're on. When you want to get down, you can either come down switch, or regular. |
