Details of the 1966 Impala SS

I am the second owner, owned it since 85.

About 5 years ago I put it in at Speed and Performance Engineering, Inc off Little York in Houston. I dont think it is still open under that same name.

I had a 10 point roll cage installed along with tubs and a Ford 9 inch rear end. Rearend is held in place with a four link.

The car has since been sitting. There is some surface rust on the cage and rearend, but it could be sandblasted off. The trunk has some rust, and some sheetmetal will need to be repaired.

There are no brakes front or rear. I was planning on putting disks all around. No engine or trans.

Known damage: the right rear fender is the worst damage. Any body man could take care of it. There is a crease in the roof, and various minor dents, dings, and creases. The paint it all bad. In fact the first thing I would do is sandblast the entire car.

It rolls right now, all four tires hold air.

I have most of the interior in storage. All of the glass is there, except for the front windshield. I also have the hood, it has a hole cut out for a scoop. I also have the driveshaft and other parts.

If you are looking for an inexpensive base for a drag car, you have found your car. All you need is to sand blast the car, fix some of the rust and body, paint it, and you have it ready for brakes, engine, trans, finish the rear suspension, and rear gears. All the hard work has already been done.

I am starting off asking $1500 (or best offer) with all interior included.
