You can take it to the Bank!

My guest today was Mr. Joe Weider. Joe is a now famous (as of this writing) Project Manager at a prominent Atlanta bank. He can float a loan but how did he respond today when his rod was overdrawn? Was he able to keep his balance aboard the ALVA D? Did he collect or come home bankrupt? Joe often uses his computer skills to check his accounts, loans, debits and debts but how did he respond to having a Dog River Golden Ghost online?

I met Joe Weider in the late 70’s when I was still a lean, PE teaching machine. Joe was in the 6th grade and I was in my late 20’s. One of the joys and dividends of the teaching profession is seeing your investment of time pay off. If the truth were known, the extension of credit usually has very little to do with the coach or the teacher. In my case, I was just blessed to have Fairplay Middle School students such as Joe Weider (banker), and Richard Maples (successful businessman) and Tony Griffith (surgeon) come my way. The main bond between these men is that they are more than just professionals. Far more important than that is the fact that they are all fine Christian men. They love the Lord with all their heart and are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ! That investment will reap benefits far longer than anyone’s 401k!

There are two ways of Carpin’ on the Dog. You can invest your time and currency to fish aboard a sleek, luxurious vessel such as the ALVA D or if you prefer, you can branch out and take it to the bank! Since March the statistics show that our average daily balance of Ghosts aboard the ALVA D is 5.6. After reviewing this fact my interest in today’s guest began to increase. Would Joe be a credit to the DRCFA or would he be just another transaction? Just what kind of statement did Joe make on this cold November morning? Did he meet his projected goal or did he just sit there and freeze his assets? How many Carp did he actually account for today? Did Joe cash in on the big one? I thought you’d never ask………

Our Story

Let it be known to all readers. Joe Weider came aboard the ALVA D today a young rookie. When he stepped off the boat he was a man! Did Joe’s Project Management skills pay off today? You can bet your sweet can of whole kernel corn it did! Joe set his sights high. He wanted the board and wanted it bad. Joe wanted it so bad that he didn’t even waste his time on small change. Only one fish was caught today. Joe waited until almost closing time and proudly landed a 6 lb, 3 oz Beauty! This put him firmly in 3rd place with only 12 days until Thanksgiving!

Today’s Quote

“How many beauties are there to a sunrise? The answer is 3. The first, everyone knows, is the sight of it. The second is to be along a stream or on a lake and be chilled until the warmth of the sun hits you. The third is the memory of the first two.”
Patrick Ganley

I am attaching two pics of Joe as well as one of the Dog in November. So Until Next Time,
