Dinning Debut
Some people drift through life and never make an impact on
anyone or any thing. They quietly go from day today, week to week and month to month.
Other people immediately make a difference! To make a difference we often have to change
our routine. We sometimes need to let our hair down and get out of our rut for a while.
That seemed to be the case with my guest today.
I have asked Steve Dinning to go Carpin on several
occasions but he always has to work. That ended yesterday!! Steve was up to his elbows and
sleeves in work but there comes a time when a man gets plumb sick of working every day!
Today Dog River Dinning made his dramatic ALVA D
debut!! Steve has fished from the Gulf to Toccoa Falls but hed never Carped on the
ALVA D. What were the results? I thought youd never ask
..
Todays Results
Steve and the Ol Captain boated an unprecedented ALVA D
high of 21 Carp today! We fished from about 8:00 am until 3:00pm and I truly believe that
Steve will go to work tomorrow a better man because of our trip today.
Another highlight of today was the Ol Captain's
personal best Carp of the year
A glorious, glistening, glittering 5lb, 11oz Golden
Ghost!
I am attaching pictures of Steves best and
my catch of the day. It is just so hard to be humble at a time like this.
Until next time, Keep on Carpin' !
