Almost Skunked
Being skunked equals catching nothing while your partner
catches something. Its just that simple. Webster defines skunked as being
overwhelmingly defeated in a game or contest. It goes further and states that when one is
skunked he is kept from scoring any points. Well, today I was almost skunked.
Todays Guest
My guest today was Roger Im back on the
board Bentley. We met at the Dog River dock around 7:30 am. By 8:20 Roger had caught
two of his three fish of the morning. His best today went 3 Lbs, 3 ozs which was enough to
put him in 5th place. It was also enough to bump off Ken I shall return
Higginbotham and his sidekick, Bryan.
Roger had to leave at noon to go to work so I fished on until
about 3:30. I finally caught four and had a few runs that I was unable to catch. Roger may
have won the morning round but I was the best fisherman aboard the ALVA D this afternoon!
I am attaching pictures of Roger's best and one of mine from
this afternoon.( so Roger will know I'm not stretching the truth). I also have a picture
of Roger in action. Look at that rod bend! When a Golden Ghost bends your rod, it stays
bent!
