Born in Ashikaga city, Tochigi, Japan, Jazz Saxophonist Kengo Yamada has established his musical career in Fredonia NY. Since 2004, he has been studying jazz saxophone from Bruce Johnstone, legendary jazz saxophonist. Kengo has been recording with verious groups and peforming in Fredonia, Buffalo, Jamestown, Erie PA, NYC, and Japan. Kengo also has been taught African Drums by Bernard Woma since 2004. In addition, Kengo has run the jazz series at Intermezzo Coffeehouse in NY and 1st Cafe in Japan.
