Okay, lets get something straight. I realize that Rika has done a lot of stuff to earn a mean name. But hey, bet you never stopped to think about why she acts the way she does. They never talk about her father, so maybe thats a clue. Maybe he died, or he left her mom, so now she's afraid that if she becomes nicer, somebody else will hurt her. Or maybe nobody ever got to know her, just Digi Battled her, trying to become the best, and she just got lonely and her heart became colder than it should be.
But whatever the reason, you have to admit that she has done some very nice stuff. She hasn't pounded Kazu or Kenta yet (which must be very difficult). And she was warm enough inside to realize that Digimon were more than data, and she's even nice to her grandmother, and Renamon after she realizes that Renamon does care about her.
I know that most people don't like Rika, but you really have to admit that she is a good person inside. She was even upset when the Jagamon killed Meramon, and he had tried to kill them a few hours before. I think that says alot. |
