| Juri and Leomon |
| I went back to happy colors for Juri and Leomon. ^_^ As you probably all know, DT has come to an end. but let me tell you of another Digi-Destined who reminds me of Katou-San. His name is Junpei. He is one of the DF characters (also my latest Anime-crush-in-development). He too has a low self esteem and he too kept putting himself down because he thought he might not be good enough to have a Digimon (or in his case, Digimon Spirit). Anyways, let's get back on track. Juri was very happy to be Leomon's partner. However, she often felt unworthy of Leomon. She got a confidence boost when she and Leomon defeated the snake-head Digimon (^_^ heh heh... sorry, I can't remember the name). But, alas and alack, Leomon sealed his fate when he saved Kyubimon and tried to bring Beelzebumon back to his senses. When he explained that he wouldn't let the children be harmed, Beelzebumon freaked, transformed his hand into a stake-like thing, and shoved it through Leomon. *sobs* Leomon's final words to Juri were, "Be brave Juri. Remember, you have a lion's heart." *more sobs* Once he disappeared (since Beelzebumon downloaded his data which he later used to save Juri), Juri's D-Ark went offline, and that was the end. Or was it? Juri went into a deep depression and was kidnapped by the D-Reaper not even a day after Leomon's death and was replaced by a clone named J-Agent (although this name wasn't actually used in the series). While Juri was trapped in a living nightmare of memories of loss, Takato confessed his love for Juri, not knowing it was actually the J-Agent he was talking to. Eventually, the real Juri was found, and Takato and Beelzebumon (who was now on th Tamers' side) were going nuts wanting to save her and mend wounds. After busting through the shell of the kernal that held Juri, Beelzebumon summond Leomon's data to help free Juri. which truely woke Juri up and made her realize what was going on. But the realizattion didn't click in fast enough. She was too scared to accept Ceelzebumon's rescue efforts, not realizing until after the kernal regenerated that Beelzebumon was no longer trying to destroy her and those who she loved. Not understanding or knowing about Beelzebumon's change of heart nearly costed him his life. When Juri did realize the truth, she became even more depressed, but she was at least was awake. After attempting to take her own life to make the pain stop (her attempt was interrupted by Culumon, who never seemed much like a hero), Juri finally was able to deal with the pressure and hardships in life. What made her most determined to escape her depression was the fact that if she didn't get out, Culumon might die (anybody else think that if the Digimon come back Culumon will end up being Juri's new partner?) She was able to escape a part of the D-Reaper, then Takato and Guilmon showed up, both wanting more than ever to save their cream-puff loving friends. One of the most touching moments though, was when Juri told Impmon she forgave him. But the thing she did that I hated most was keep that stupid puppet (I'm not much of a fan of puppets. They give me the creeps). |
