Hirokazu is the comic relief. He likes to pick on Kenta and tease Ruki and Takato. Not sure why he'd wanna bug Ruki, considering she could belt him into next week really easily (which she should have). He likes attention, and really is only serious when there's danger.
Guardromon appeared in episode 32 (Kazu's Upgrade) as Andromon. After a bad beating from that snake-headed Digimon (can't remember the name right now), he devolved to Guardromon. Afther finding out they were partners, the two freaked in joy. Guardromon then began imitating Hirokazu (a funny example is in episode 41, Homeward Bound).
