Apollo 3 (God of Brothers)

Chapter 12 - Part 4

Unknown location – Monte Carlo, Monaco

January 8th

‘It really wasn’t fair, no sir, not fair at all,’ was the first coherent thought, Cooper Donovan had upon waking in a strange, but richly furnished room.

He had regained consciousness just a few minutes earlier, and after making sure his head was not going to fall off from the excruciating headache, he tried to figure out what had happened.

The last thing he remembered was leaving the disco after his talk with the infuriating Lucca Sebastiani, and after that nothing, until he woke up in the strange room. He had tried the door, but found it locked, so he had decided just to wait and see. That is when he had the thought that it was not fair that it was the second time someone had mistaken him for one of his clones, and had taken him by force. Had been in Mexico City, when the police had thought he was Gabriel, and now Monte Carlo. ‘Maybe I shouldn’t go to any cities starting with M and C,’ Cooper mused, as he looked around the room. The only window faced out into a courtyard, but he could hear the ocean nearby.

The door opening behind him, made him turn around, as two large men entered, followed by another, older man. The older man was dressed in an expensive-looking suit, and wore, what Cooper guessed were, very expensive shoes.

"Mister Donovan," the man said, extending his hand, "I am so glad to see you awake."

Cooper looked at the man with suspicion, before accepting the handshake, "How do you know may name? Who are you? Where am I?"

The man chuckled, and said, in slightly accented English, "One thing at a time. I know your name because I took the liberty to go through your wallet. My name is Giovanni Bianchi, and you are a guest at my villa."

"I’m guessing, since I have no clue who the hell you are, or why you would want to kidnap me, that you actually wanted Lucca Sebastiani," Cooper said, trying to sound more confident, than he actually was.

"Let’s just say, I have had a hard time convincing the young Count Sebastiani, to meet with me," Bianchi said, shrugging his shoulders, "He didn’t really leave me much choice."

"So now that you know you have the wrong brother…"

"Aah, brother," Bianchi said, smiling, "I would have guessed a close relation, but not brother, since I know the Countess, and she does not strike me as being willing to procreate more than once. Twins, I guess then."

"I still don’t know what you wanted with my brother, and why you resorted to kidnapping," Cooper said, ignoring the question.

"Kidnapping," Bianchi said, shaking his head, "Such an ugly word. I rather believe we were just trying to assure the compliance of a request. The Count Sebastiani, is a very stubborn young man, and refuses to respond to my invitations. I guess now, he will not have a choice. I have his brother," Bianchi said, smiling smugly, "He can’t refuse to join me."

"I have just met the guy, and honestly wasn’t too impressed with him, or his sense of family," Cooper said, trying to sound braver than he felt, "I doubt he’d even know who you are talking about when you call him."

"Well, that is too bad for you then, isn’t it, Mister Donovan," Bianchi said, no longer smiling, "Until such time, the Count decides to join us, you are a guest in my home. Anything you need, all you need to do is ask. Good night."

Before Cooper could say anything else, Bianchi and his henchmen left the room, locking the door behind them. "Great," Cooper said aloud, "My life is in the hands of someone who couldn’t care less about having a brother."

Room 316

"Alex, why don’t you ask the Count to come in," Fox said, as he watched his lover just stand at the door, staring at his clone.

Shaking himself out of his surprise, Alex said, "Of course, wont you come in." Stepping aside, he watched as the other man entered the room. Alex was surprised how different Sebastiani looked from the sweaty, longhaired singer of a few hours before.

"Lucca," Giancarlo said, nodding to his former lover.

"Gianni, I heard you were in town," Lucca said, giving the older man a small smile. "You must be Gabriel, I presume," he added as he turned to face his other twin. "Mister Donovan mentioned there were two others."

"You saw Coop? Where?" Alex asked, suddenly remembering the missing member of his family.

"He came to see me at the club…Mister…" Lucca said, raising an eyebrow in question.

"Krycek, Alex Krycek," Alex said, "This is Gabriel Wolff, his partner, Sawyer Sullivan, and my partner, Fox Mulder. Giancarlo, you know."

"Yes," Lucca said, softly. "How is the restaurant business?" he added, his face showing no sign of how he felt at being in the same room as his lover.

"Fine. How is the gambling business," Giancarlo said, not missing a beat, although his heart was skipping a couple here and there. He knew that seeing his lover would be tough, but not as hard as it was. It was taking all his self-control, not to just grab Lucca and kiss him within an inch of his life.

"Quite profitable," Lucca said. Turning back to Alex, he added, "Would one of you gentlemen, be kind enough to explain to me, the circumstances of our apparent relationship. I have contacted my mother, but she was hesitant to disclose any pertinent information, as how I have suddenly come to acquire three siblings I knew nothing off."

"Where is Cooper?" Alex asked, taken slightly aback by the long-winded question.

"How would I be expected to possess that information," Lucca said, sounding surprised, "I had assumed, that he would have rushed here, to share his findings, after our encounter. I notice that the two of you do not share Mister Donovan’s peculiar speech pattern. Am I to gather, that you do not live in the same location?"

"Why does that matter," Alex said, growing angry, as Lucca avoided answering their questions. "Do you know where Cooper is, or not?"

"I believe, I have made that quite clear, by asking how you expected me to know his location," Lucca said, "I assume he is out, trying to figure out how to tell you about our meeting. He didn’t seem to be too pleased with the outcome. I presume, he anticipated my reaction to be one of unadulterated joy, at finding out I had not one, but three siblings, and was somewhat dissatisfied with my response."

"Let me guess," Giancarlo said, "You were your charming self, and told him you could care less about family. Am I right."

Lucca’s vivid green eyes, flared with anger for a split second, before he took a deep breath and said, "You know me too well, Gianni."

"So why are you here, if you don’t care about family," Gabriel asked, worried about Cooper and disappointed that this brother did not seem to willing to get to know them.

"Inquisitiveness, I speculate," Lucca said, shrugging his shoulder, "My mother has done many things in her life that have been less than, how shall I put this, less than moral. So when I suddenly find myself the recipient of three potential brothers, all of which look startlingly like myself, I couldn’t help but wonder, what my dear mother, may have done to cause this incredible coincidence."

"You sure like to hear yourself talk," Sawyer Sullivan said, smiling when Lucca turned to him in surprise.

Before Lucca could say anything, his cell phone rang, sounding particularly loud in the suddenly quiet room.

"Sebastiani," Lucca said, his tone sharp. He had been taking by surprise by Sully’s comment and chided himself for having let his surprise show. He listened without saying a word, to the person on the other end of the line. He didn’t show any reaction to the information he was receiving, until with a curt ‘Si’, he disconnected the call. "I seem to have located your missing brother," Lucca said, as he faced the other men, who were all looking at him intently.

"Walter said to sit tight and wait for him," Fox said as he returned to the living room, after explaining to Walter, that Cooper was being held until such time Lucca met with Bianchi. He and Alex had a lengthy conversation with their lover, who made it quite clear to Alex, that he was to behave and not try to do anything rash.

"Where is Lucca?" Alex asked, noting that the Count was no longer in the room.

"He left, but said he would be back in a few hours," Gabriel explained.

"And you believed him?" Alex said, angrily, "The man couldn’t care less about Cooper, and he is the only one that knows where this guy might be keeping him."

"Lucca, might be many things, but he is above all a gentleman, and he would not let anyone be hurt because of him," Giancarlo said, to his ex-lover’s defense.

"So what do we do in the meantime?" Fox said.

"Walter said that Chris is on his way here. Hopefully Lucca will have a plan on how to get Cooper back, before Chris gets here," Fox said, as he watched the other three men head out the door.

January 9th

Fox’s wish was not destined to come true, as he rolled out of bed to answer the doorbell to their suite.

"Chris…hi…what…what are you doing here? I didn’t know you were coming," Fox said, trying to come up with a suitable answer to the question, he knew Chris would be asking.

"Hey Fox, sorry to wake you up so early," Chris Newman said, extending his hand in greeting. "Walter told me what room you guys were in. I knew they wouldn’t give me the key to Cooper’s room, so I decided just to come here instead. So where is Spud?"

"Uhm…he…uhm…he is in 312," Fox said, hesitantly, "But he isn’t there…right now."

"He’s not? Where the hell would he be at eight seven o’clock in the morning?"

"He went…sailing," Alex said, as he came out of the room, "Hey Chris."

"Hello, Alex," Chris said, "What do you mean sailing? I would have thought that after the accident in Hawaii, Cooper would stay as far away from water as possible."

"He…he…he went with Giancarlo," Alex said, hating to lie, but not ready to tell his brother’s lover the truth yet.

Unfortunately for Alex, Giancarlo chose that exact moment to return to the room. "You must be Chris, Fox said that you would be arriving today."

Chris looked at first at Fox and then at Alex, making both the younger men cringe under his scrutinizing gaze, "I thought you were surprised to see me, Fox. And Alex, I thought you said, Cooper was with Giancarlo."

"You didn’t tell him," Giancarlo said, and when both Fox and Alex blanched, he had his answer. "I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, after all we don’t know each other, but Cooper has been taken…"

"Taken! What do you mean taken? Taken where?" Chris said, loosing all semblance of calm. "And why would you two lie to me."

"We just didn’t know how to tell you," Fox said quickly, "Walter is on his way here; he’ll be here tomorrow sometime. I’m sorry Chris, we just didn’t want to upset you."

"What happened? Can you at least tell me that?" Chris said, angrily.

For the next few minutes, the three men explained what had transpired, Fox and Alex, trying to assure Chris that Cooper was going to be fine.

"Lucca says he has a plan," Giancarlo explained, "He knows Bianchi; I think we should let him handle it."

Frantic knocking on the door interrupted them, and when Fox opened the door, Sawyer Sullivan rushed in.

"Is he here?" Sully asked, breathlessly. "Is Gabriel here? I was coming out of the shower, when the phone rang. I couldn’t make out much of what Gabriel was saying, but he yelled out that he would be back, and took off. I thought maybe he came here."

"No he is not here," Fox said, "Sully, this is Chris Newman, Cooper’s partner. Sully is Gabriel’s partner."

"Nice to meet you," Sully said, "You don’t think he went after Cooper…by himself."

"Maybe Lucca, is the one that called," Chris said.

"Why would he do that?" Alex said, confused, "Why Gabriel…"

"And not you," Fox said, finishing his lover’s sentence, "I’m not sure Alex, but lets not jump to conclusion."

"I can’t just sit around here and do nothing," Alex said, angrily, "And I most certainly, am not going to let Lucca Sebastiani, who cares nothing for my brothers put their lives in danger for a thrill."

"Look, yelling at each other is not going to solve anything," Giancarlo said, "Finding Bianchi is not a difficult thing, everyone knows where his villa is. Getting in is the problem. It’s like a fortress."

"I’ve gotten into more secure places…" Alex began, just to be interrupted by Fox.

"Alex," Fox said, warningly, "Giancarlo, would you mind taking Chris and Sully to breakfast. I would like sometime alone with Alex."

"Of course," Giancarlo said, and led the way out of the suite, "I’ll call you if I hear from Lucca."

"Thanks," Fox said, and when they were alone, he turned to Alex and added, "Alex, you have to promise me you will not do anything crazy. You will wait to hear from Lucca."

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"I mean, I don’t want to lie to you Fox," Alex said, his eyes flashing, "I would rather you be mad at me, even hate me, for disobeying you, than for lying to you. I can’t promise you that I will not try to go get Cooper. As a matter of fact, that’s exactly what I am going to do now."

"Alex, if you go out that door…"

Alex, walked to the door, put his hand on the doorknob and said, "Fox, I love you more than my own life, you know that, but I have to do this. I have to find out what I can do to help my brother. I’d though if anyone would understand, you would."

"Alex, please, let’s wait for Walter," Fox pleaded, "He can handle this through diplomatic channels, if it comes down to it."

"I’m sorry Fox, I can’t," Alex said, sadly, "Please understand. Please believe in me. I will not do anything to hurt you or Walter," he added as he walked out the door.

"You already have," Fox said, his eyelids heavy with unshed tears, "You already have."

"This is never going to work," Gabriel said, as he stared at his reflection in the mirror.

"Of course, it will work," Lucca said, standing behind him, "It’s my idea…all my ideas work."

"No one is ever going to believe I am you," Gabriel said, tugging at the hem of the white tuxedo jacket he was wearing.

"I enjoy changing my appearance," Lucca said, "Anyone who sees you will just think, you are me. We just need to provide a distraction to the guards, so we can penetrate the Bianchi estate, and emancipate your brother."

"Your brother too," Gabriel said, turning around to face his clone. "You might not like the idea, but it’s a fact."

"If we are going to bring this plan to fruition, we need to make haste," Lucca said, totally ignoring Gabriel’s last comment.

Gabriel, looked at him, but decided not to push the issue. He wasn’t sure how, but he could feel a need in the other man…a need to be part of them, but afraid, at the same time, to be hurt by them. He would bide his time, and when he felt Lucca was ready, would pull him into the fold, even if it was kicking and screaming.

"Are you comfortable like that," he asked, as he looked at the outfit, Lucca had slithered into.

Lucca smiled, his dimples showing clearly, "It’s not the first time I have worn a similar outfit. As I said, I enjoy taking on different personalities. Are you ready?"

Gabriel, took a deep breath, and nodded, "As I’ll ever be."

Outside Bianchi Villa

"What the hell?" Alex said, as he trained the binoculars on the front entrance to the Bianchi Villa. It had not been too hard to find the home of the man that had taken Cooper. The house was on a hill, surrounded by other hills, and facing the ocean. Being the good ex-spy that he was, Alex had already done a survey of the grounds, but had yet to find a way in.

Now, he watched as Gabriel stepped out of a limousine, and put out his hand to help a leggy blond out. The woman took a moment to straighten the tight, short, white leather dress she was wearing, and after a flip of her long blonde hair, she gave Gabriel a dazzling smile, and took his arm.

Cursing aloud, Alex made his way down the steep embankment, and hid in the shadows along the wall surrounding the villa. He was not sure how he was going to get in, but now he had two brothers to rescue, and then he was going to kill Lucca Sebastiani, for putting them in danger.

"I’m coming, I’m coming, jeez, hold your…" Fox shouted, as he rushed across the room to answer the pounding on the door, "Walter! How…how…oh, I’m so happy to see you," he said, as he launched himself into the open arms of his lover.

"Hey Fox," Walter said, smiling, as he kissed the side of the face buried into his chest, "I’m happy to see you too, baby, I’ve missed you so much."

"Oh Walter! I…I…I’m sorry, I…I didn’t…" Fox said, hugging Walter tightly.

Growing alarmed by the emotional welcome, Walter said, "Fox? Fox what’s going on? What’s happened? Where is Alex?"

"He…he left," Fox said, as he backed away and led Walter into the room. "He went after Cooper. I told him to wait for you…how did you get here so soon. I didn’t expect you until tomorrow."

"I took the Concorde," Walter said, taking a seat and pulling the younger man to sit besides him. "I pulled some strings, I figured you’d want me here as soon as possible. Now, tell me what has been going on."

For the next fifteen minutes, Fox gave Walter a rundown on everything that had happened. "Why are you smiling?" Fox asked, when he noticed a grin on Walter’s lips.

"Sorry," Walter said, shaking his head in amusement, "It just sounds exactly like one of your reports when you used to work for me. Okay, let me change, and then we are going to go get this all straightened out."

"What about Chris, Sully, and Giancarlo?"

"While I change, why don’t you go see if you can round them up? Meet me in the lobby in ten."

"Have I told you how glad I am you are here," Fox said kissing him.

"Get going," Walter said, kissing him back, "Let’s go get our boy, spank him, and then let’s have hot reunion sex."

Fox smiled and wiggled his eyebrows, "Can’t wait."

Bianchi Villa

"I told him it wouldn’t work," Gabriel said angrily as he shifted in his seat.

"I can’t believe you actually went along with that hare brained idea," Cooper said, as handed him a bottle of water.

"I’m in so much trouble," Gabriel said, taking the offered beverage, "Sully is going to hate me. I can’t believe I left without telling him."

"Why did you?"

"Lucca called, and he said that he need my help to get you," Gabriel said.

"Why didn’t you tell anyone?"

"He said that time was of the essence," Gabriel said, "Actually what he said was, ‘any delay in making a swift decision, would undoubtedly result in Mister Donovan’s continued incarceration and possible harm."

"He sure does like to use them ten dollar words, don’t he?" Cooper said.

"I think, it’s just a way of hiding his insecurities," Gabriel said, "I don’t know why but, I get the feeling that he is very lonely."

"We are a bunch, aren’t we?" Coop said, chuckling, "A cowboy, a priest, a dandy, and a bad-ass ex-spy."

"Speaking of Alex," Gabriel said, "He is going to be pissed at Lucca. You and I have to keep him level."

"Yeah," Cooper said, "Alex, can be pretty dangerous when he is angry."

Both men jumped when the door burst open, and a body came flying in. It took them a moment to realize that the body belonged to their brother, the badass ex-spy.

"Alex! Alex, are you all right?" Gabriel said, rushing to Alex’s side. He was relieved when, Alex moaned and sat up slowly. "What happened?"

"Wasn’t watching were I was going," Alex said, rubbing the lump on the back of his head, "What were you thinking, Gabriel, coming here alone."

"I didn’t come alone," Gabriel said, "I came with Lucca."

"No you didn’t," Alex said, as Cooper helped him to the bed, "I was watching the house. I saw you arrive with a woman."

"That was Lucca," Gabriel said, and smiled at the look of confusion on Alex’s face, "He said that Bianchi has a thing for blondes, and that he meant to teach the old gentleman to be a better loser."

"What’s he planning to do?" Alex asked, "Bianchi is not going to fall for that."

"You did," Gabriel said, and chuckled at the outraged expression on Alex’s face. "I say, we sit and wait it out. Cooper says that Bianchi seems like a reasonable man, that all he wanted was to have a chance to play Lucca again. Seems that our brother…"

"Not that he wants to be," Alex said, angrily, "He doesn’t seem to care, for anyone for himself."

"Alex, you really didn’t think that he would just jump with joy when he found out he had brothers," Cooper said.

"You did," Alex said, "Well, not jump exactly, but you didn’t think it was something horrible either."

"And neither does Lucca," Gabriel said, "I think he just has been hurt too many times, and doesn’t let his feelings show. He is afraid to get close, but I think he will."

"You do?" Alex said, not even noticing the touch of hope in his voice. "So what do you think he is doing with Bianchi? They must know it’s him by now."

"Well, they didn’t when we came in, and Bianchi had a good look at us," Gabriel said, "He just assumed that I had been trying to impersonate Lucca."

"So what do we do now?" Cooper asked, "When Bianchi figures out that what’s going on, he will not be happy."

"Not much we can do," Gabriel said, "There are guards outside the door, and the only window leads out into a hundred foot drop into the ocean.

"I’ve gotten out of tougher situations before," Alex said, and walked to the window to look.

"What are you planning to do?" Cooper asked, "Sprout wings and fly out. We just have to wait and see."

"I’m sure that Chris is not going to want to wait," Alex said, and smiled smugly at the look of surprise on Coop’s face.

"Chris…Chris is here," the cowboy said, "Oh shit, he is gonna kill me."

"It wasn’t your fault you got taken," Gabriel said.

"The last thing Chris said before I left home, was to not go maverick, and try to do things on my own," Cooper said, "I got taken because I went alone. Gods, my butt is toast."

"Join the club," Alex said, "I left when Fox told me not to, and when Walter gets here tomorrow, he is not going to be too happy with me."

"We are a sorry bunch," Gabriel said, shaking his head. "The only one that probably won’t have a red backside by this time tomorrow will be Lucca."

x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0

"You have a very lovely ass, my dear," Giovanni Bianchi said, as he ran a hand over the curve of Lucca’s hip.

"You say the sweetest things," Lucca said, smiling tightly, as he shifted his body so the wandering hand fell away.

"You are so beautiful, Luccia," Bianchi said, placing a small kiss on the exposed neck, "I don’t understand how it is, I haven’t seen you before. And why were you with that man?"

"I just arrived today," Lucca said, rolling his eyes, as the older man continued the exploration of his body. "I saw him in the lobby of the hotel, and he offered me some money to help him."

"Do you do many things for money?" Bianchi said, grinning wickedly.

"I do a lot of things for money," Lucca purred, seductively, "Want me to show you?"

Thinking he was going to get to see what the little white dress kept hidden, Giovanni nodded his head vigorously, and fell backwards onto the big suede couch. To his surprise, the leggy blonde walked away from him, and headed to the large entertainment center. After a moment of looking over the selection of CD’s, she picked one, and sending him a sly look over her shoulder, put it into the disk player. As the music began, Lucca began a to sway his hips seductively, and when the words started, he began to sing along, all the time moving back towards the now visibly excited Bianchi.

Lucca wasn’t sure what he was planning on doing, but he knew he was quick on his feet, and would come up with a plan, when the time presented itself. For now, he would play at seducing Bianchi, and when the time was right, and he had gotten the older man, drunk enough, he would slip the sleeping pills into the wine, they had been drinking. Once Bianchi was out for the count, he would figure out a way of rescuing his brothers…where the hell had that come from.

"Something the matter, my dear?" Bianchi asked, bringing Lucca out of his reverie.

Lucca, smiled, trying to conceal the fact that he was upset with himself, at having been caught drifting off. His mother’s mocking voice suddenly popped into his head, ‘Lucca, darling, you’ll never amount to anything if you let your silly, little, emotions determine your actions.’

"Nothing is the matter, caro mio," Lucca said, placing a kiss on Bianchi’s nose, "I was just overcome by desire."

Before Bianchi could put his hands on the large breasts before him, one of his men burst into the room and in rapid-fire Italian, told his boss than they had visitors.

"Well, tell them to leave," Bianchi said, angrily, "Can’t you see I’m busy?"

"One of them has an F.B.I badge, sir," the tall, but beefy man said, obviously nervous, "And another one is Count Sabastiani’s lover."

Bianchi was too preoccupied listening to the information, to notice Lucca’s reaction to the news that Gianni was at the villa.

"Bella mia," Bianchi said, as he gently disentangled himself from Lucca’s arms, "Let me take care of this. Show them in."

"Maybe I should wait in the other room," Lucca said, backing away.

"Nonsense," Bianchi said, "I will quickly take care of it and then we can get back to our fun."

Lucca nodded hesitantly, and watched as a tall, broad-shoulder, bald man came in, followed by Gianni, Fox Mulder, Sawyer Sullivan, and another man he did not know. When he saw Giancarlo’s eyes widen in recognition, he gave his former lover a small shake of his head in warning.

"Gentlemen, how may I help you," Giovanni Bianchi said, "Is this something that can wait until tomorrow? As you can see, I am currently entertaining."

"We will be out of your way, as soon as you release the man you have captive," Walter Skinner said, in his best Deputy Director voice.

Fox, who was standing next to his lover said, "We know he is here. I was there when Count Sebastiani received your call."

"I am not denying young Mister Donovan is a guest here," Bianchi said, "As are two other young men who resemble the Count."

"Alex and Gabriel are here," Sully exclaimed in surprise, "I thought Gabriel had come here with Lucca."

"He did," Lucca said, from behind Bianchi, making the older man turn around in shock.

"You! How…how…" Bianchi spluttered, as he tried to get his mind around the fact that moments before he had come close to engaging in sex with his opponent.

"You want to play with the big boys, Vonni, you have to learn that when you play with high stakes, you can lose big," Lucca said, slowly moving towards Giancarlo.

"Why you…" Bianchi said, and before Lucca could react, backhanded the younger man across the face. Lucca, who was still wearing high stiletto heels, lost his balance and fell backwards, hitting his head on the glass coffee table.

"LUCCA!" Giancarlo shouted, as he rushed to his lover, pushing Bianchi out of his way.

Bianchi’s man reacted to the perceived attack on his employer, and pulled out a gun, and suddenly all hell broke loose. Fox, dove at the man, and caught him at the knees, throwing the shot of center. Chris moved to restrain Bianchi, who had reached into a drawer on his desk and pulled out a gun.

"I wouldn’t, if I were you," Chris said, menacingly, "You are already in enough trouble. Now, where are the boys?"

Knowing he didn’t have a chance, Bianchi said, "I’ll have one of my men go get them."

"No need," Alex said, as he rushed into the room, closely followed by Gabriel and Cooper.

"Are you boys okay?" Walter asked as Alex walked up to him, and stood looking at him nervously.

"Yeah," Alex said softly, "It wasn’t too hard to get out of that room, once we tricked the guards and overpowered them. I…I didn’t think you were getting here until tomorrow."

"I bet you didn’t," Walter said, sternly, "We’ll talk about it when we get back to the hotel. Giancarlo, how is he?"

"He’s got a cut on the back of the head, but I don’t think it needs stitches," Giancarlo said, as he help Lucca stand. "Sully, do you think you can check him over."

"I’m fine," Lucca said, but did not make a move to step out of the comforting arms of the larger man.

"Don’t argue with me, Lucca," Gianni said, tired of quarrelling with the man he loved. The moment he had seen Lucca fall, he knew he would not be able to walk away any more. He was going to make their relationship work, whatever it took. "I’m ready whenever you are, Walter."

"Mister Bianchi, if you ever think of coming near one of us again, or try to retaliate against any one of us, I’ll make sure to bring the law down on your head so fast, you wont know what hit you," Walt said, "Fox, Alex, let’s go."

Bianchi, was too stunned to say anything, and just watched as the nine men filed out.

"Is he really okay?" Giancarlo Calabrese said as he and Sawyer Sullivan stepped out of the bedroom and into the living room of Lucca’s suite.

"He’ll have a hell of a headache but he’ll be fine, in a day or two," Sully assured him, "Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a errant lover to deal with."

"Deal with?" Giancarlo asked, confused, "What are you going to do?"

"Let’s just say that at breakfast tomorrow, he will not be sitting too comfortably," Sully said, and smiled. When he saw the frown on Giancarlo’s face, he added, "You’ve never punished Lucca before, have you?"

"Punished him?"

"Gabriel and I are equals in our relationship, so we both had to agreed that to set boundaries, and when one of us breaks them, we suffer the consequences. It shows each of us, that the other cares enough to make sure we are safe, even from our own actions."

"Lucca, would never agree to something like that," Giancarlo said, shaking his head.

"You’d be surprised," Sully said, "Love him now; discuss it later. Call me if you need anything…but don’t call too soon."

When Sully had gone, Giancarlo walked to the bedroom door, and opened it carefully. Peering in, he could not help but smile at Lucca, who was fast asleep, and looking totally innocent. A sudden picture of Lucca, draped over his knees, bare-assed and asking for forgiveness popped in Giancarlo’s head. "You need someone to show you they care. I’m going to show you I care, more than you ever expected," he whispered as he walked to the bed and gently slipped into it with his soon to be again lover. He couldn’t help the smile that split his face, when Lucca turned and settled into his arms, as if it was the most common occurrence.

"But…but…but I was the one that was kidnapped," Cooper whined, as he stood, nose first in the corner.

"I know, and whose fault was that?" Chris asked, as he calmly read the newspaper on the bed.

"Bianchi’s?"

"Try again."

"Lucca?"

"Nope. Two strikes, wanna go for three?"

"My own fault?"

"Bingo. Now how about you stand there quietly for another fifteen minutes, and then we’ll have a little talk."

"And will that talk be face to face, or hand to butt?"

"Quiet, brat," Chris said, with a smirk.

"You sure about this, Gabey?" Sully asked, as he ran his hand over the smooth, upturned bottom on his lap.

"Yes," Gabriel said, closing his eyes tightly in anticipation to the upcoming spanking. He knew he deserved it, but he wasn’t looking forward to it.

"Very well, then," Sully said, raising his hand, "What is this spanking for, Gabriel?"

"I…I ran off, without tell…telling you were, I was going…owww," Gabriel said, between tightly clenched teeth. He had expected it to hurt, but not quite so much.

"And why is that bad?" Sully asked, never breaking pace, as he landed a flurry of spanks, dead center on each of his lover's buttocks.

"Be…because, it can be dangerous, and I can get in tro…ouch…I’m sorry, I’m so sorry," Gabriel said, as he began to sob from the pain. "I…I…I’m sorry, Sul…Sully, don’t hate…hate me…please."

Sully, stopped the spanking immediately, and quickly, but gently rolled Gabriel over, so he was sitting on Sully’s lap. "Listen very carefully to me, Gabriel," the doctor said, lifting the older man’s chin, so he could look into the tear filled eyes. "I may not be too happy with your actions at the moment, and for that, I am spanking you, to show you how displeased I am, but I would never, ever hate you. I love you, you nut."

Gabriel threw his arms around Sully’s neck, and hugged him tightly, all the while continuing to sob. "I…I love you tooooo…"

Sully, gave Gabriel a few minutes to calm down, and then said, "That’s enough for your first time. But in the future, I will stop when I think you have been have been thoroughly punished, not when you beg me to stop, you understand?"

"Yes Sully," Gabriel said, "I trust you, I know…you’ll never go too far."

"You bet," Sully said, and then smiled, "I’m way too afraid of your brothers to ever harm a hair on your head. What do you say, we take care of your backside, and then have some fun."

Gabriel’s smile lit the room, "I’m glad you chose that order; I don’t think my butt could take any fun right now."

Room 316

"I said I was sorry, come on you guys…spank me already," Alex whined, as he stomped his foot childishly.

"Fox, the injured party here, got to decide the punishment," Walter said, pleasantly, "Now, you be a good boy, and stand there quietly."

"But…but, it’s not fair," Alex said, pouting for effect, "Can you just spank me?"

"Oh, you will be, don’t doubt that," Walter said, his tone still pleasant, "But the spanking will be for breaking into Bianchi’s villa. This punishment is for disobeying Fox, and not waiting for me. Fox, do you want to tell Alex how you felt when he walked out the door?"

Fox, who was sitting cross-legged, and totally nude, on the bed, looked at his younger lover and said, "I felt like you didn’t respect me. I felt that if Walter had been here, you would have listened to him, but me, me you take for granted. I think, you think I’ll forgive you anything, if you simply say you are sorry, but that you worry about disappointing Walter."

Alex listened to Fox’s words, and his heart constricted. He had not realized it, but every word Fox spoke, was completely accurate. He did see Fox as his partner in crime so to speak, while Walter he cast in the role of the disciplinarian. He had never thought that his actions, unconscious as they were, were hurting one of the men he loved most in his life.

"I…I’m so…so…sorry, Fox…I never, I never meant to hurt you," Alex said, trying to keep the sobs at bay, even as tears streamed down his cheeks, "I love you, you know that, please tell me you…you…know that."

"I know that, Alex," Fox said, softly, "I just wish you’d understand that I love you too, and that I want to keep you safe, even when you don’t agree."

"I…I know Fox," Alex said, "I’ll take my punishment, just…just promise me you’ll forgive me. Please?"

"You know I will, baby," Fox said, and this time smiled widely, "Now, turn around, face the corner and think about what you are about to miss."

"Can…can I give you a kiss first," Alex said, timidly, "Both of you. Please?"

"Fox?" Walter asked.

"Of course," Fox said, and waited, until Alex walked over to the bed, leaned down, and placed a delicate kiss on his lips. Alex, then repeated the action with Walter, and smiling gratefully, he went to the corner of the bedroom, and faced it, ready to accept his punishment.

Behind him, Fox and Walter looked at each other and, for a moment, rethought their plan to punish Alex, by having sex with him in the room, and not allowing him to join them, or even see them. It had been Fox’s idea, and it was meant to show what he would have missed, had he been hurt, or killed, during his foolish escapade.

"What is your pleasure?" Fox asked Walter, as he stretched out onto the large bed.

"Oh, I get the choice," Walter said, smiling at the sumptuous body before him. "You know, when Alex was with us, we use to let him go first and make the choice. Now that he is not, I guess you and I had better take turns. So I chose…uhm…lets go against type, and have you take me."

"I’d love to," Fox said, and changed positions with Walter, so the older man was now stretched out on the bed. "But I want you on your back, so I can look at your face." He waited until Walter was in position, and then said, "Before we start, would you like me to suck you? I know I’m not as good Alex was…"

"He was good, wasn’t he?" Walter said, and glanced at Alex, whose shoulders were slumped and shaking slightly. "I loved the way he used to wake me up Saturday mornings."

"He sure had a way about him," Fox said, with a sigh, "I miss him so much."

"I do too, Fox," Walter said, "But I am sure, Alex would want us to go on. After all, it was his choice to leave and to place himself in danger. I just hope, wherever he is, he knows how much we loved him."

A strangled sob from the corner, stopped Fox from voicing his next thought, and instead he and Walter looked at each other worriedly. After a moment, they heard Alex, take a deep breath, and calm down slightly, so Fox said, "You ready, Big Guy?"

"For you always," Walter said, and gasped, when Fox suddenly took his cock fully into his mouth, and began sucking him like it was going out of style. "Oh Gods…oh Gods…that…that…Fox," was all he managed to say before his words melted into moans and groans of pleasure.

Fox, for his part, was busily sucking and licking the hard shaft in his mouth. He used a little trick that Alex had shown him, but that he had never tried with Walter before, and smiled when he heard the other man scream and arch his back as the orgasm tore through him.

When Walter was spent, and laid panting on the bed, Fox took the opportunity to lift his lover’s legs over his shoulders, and positioned his already slick cock at the entrance of Walter’s body. "You ready, baby?"

Taking a deep breath, so he could put a coherent sentence together, Walter said, "Alex teach you that?"

"Uh-hu," Fox said and grinned widely, "How about it? You ready?"

"Please," was all Walter had to say, as his big brown eyes expressed his need to have his lover inside him.

Fox slid in easily and began a slow rhythm of thrusts, as he gripped Walter’s thighs to give himself leverage. He would pull almost all the way out, before plunging in repeatedly, each time aiming for the sweet spot that he knew would drive Walter to the edge of unconsciousness.

After a few minutes, all that was audible in the room were Walter’s passionate moans, Fox’s groans, and Alex’s sobs. Fox’s body shook with the strain of the thrusting, and then, as his orgasm hit, he threw his head and screamed, "WALTER!"

Fox slumped forward and landed on Walter’s chest, and both men spent five minutes recovering. When Fox was able to open his eyes, he glanced over to were Alex was, and said, "Walter…Walter…"

"What? Uh?" Walter said, exhaustedly, and when he saw what Fox, was referring to added, "Shit!"

Both men jumped of the bed, and rushed to the huddled form of their lover. Alex, had slid down the wall, still facing it, and had his arm wrapped around his upturned knees, while his head rested on his forearm.

"Alex? Alex, baby, speak to me," Fox said, rubbing the naked back gently. When Alex lifted his head, and Fox saw the red rimmed, tear-filled eyes, and the flushed cheeks, and runny nose, he added, "Oh Alex, I’m sorry this was so rough on you."

Alex, continued to cry silently, but gasped, when Walter picked him up in his strong arms, and carried him to the bed. He was deposited gently on the bed, and was soon flanked by both his lovers.

"Ple…please…never, pu…punish…punish me, like that again," Alex cried, heart wrenching sobs making his words barely understandable. "Whip…whip me, cane me…anything…but his again."

"Hush, sweetheart, hush, it’s all right," Walter soothed.

"Spank me," Alex said, suddenly, surprising both his lovers.

"No, not tonight, that can wait," Fox said, kissing the sweaty forehead.

"No. Please, I need this to be over," Alex said, more calmly, "I want to feel forgiven."

"Okay, okay," Walter said, much to Fox’s amazement. "He needs it, Fox."

Fox simply nodded and moved to sit next to Walter, as Alex positioned himself over Walter’s lap. "What is this spanking for, Alex?"

"I endangered my life…awww, and I broke into some…shit…someone’s home," Alex said, gasping in pain, as Walter’s large hand landed repeatedly on his exposed rear. "I…ouch…owww…I won’t do it…again…I…I’m sorry."

Walter ended the spanking and helped Alex to sit up. "It’s over. You are forgiven."

"Fo…Fox?"

"I forgive you too," Fox said and kissed the cheek nearest to him.

"There is still the small matter of the two of you lying to Chris about Cooper," Walter said, and smiled at the look of surprise on both the younger men’s faces. "Oh, you didn’t think I’d find out?"

"Can’t we just apologize to Chris tomorrow?" Fox said, going for the innocent look.

"Yes," Walter said, "And add to that a thousand lines each of ‘Lying to my friends is not nice.’"

"A thousand," Alex said, and when Walter raised his eyebrow, quickly added, "We got off easy. Thank you, Walter."

"How about we all get some sleep? Tomorrow will probably be an interesting day," Walter said, giving him a hug and a kiss.

"Why do you say that?" Alex said, around a huge yawn.

"All four brothers will be together for the first time," Fox said, as the trio snuggled into bed.

"Alex, remember that whatever happens, we’ll be there for you," Walter said, "And so will Cooper and Gabriel."

"So you think Lucca will not want to be part of the family?" Alex said, voicing his disappointment.

"Don’t worry about it tonight," Walter said, "Whatever happens, it’s out of our hands now."

Hotel de Paris - Restaurant

January 10th

"Maybe we should ask the waiter for some pillows, instead of extra butter," Chris Newman said, as he watched his lover squirm, for what seemed the hundredth time in the last half-hour.

"Very funny," Cooper said, sticking out his tongue at him.

"So, you think they’ll show up," Gabriel asked, as he took a bite off his Eggs Benedict.

The seven men were in the outside sitting are of the hotel’s restaurant. They were afforded a view of the water, and were taking advantage of the mild winter weather, by having their breakfast al fresco.

"I’m not sure, but Giancarlo seemed pretty determined last night," Sully said, as he put another dollop of whipped cream on his Belgian waffle. "You know that is a heart attack on a plate don’t you?" he added, pointing to the eggs his lover was consuming."

"Hello pot, this is kettle, you are black," Gabriel said, pointing to the loaded waffle in front of Sully, giving him a quick peck on the tip of his nose. "Worried about my little ole heart."

"You had better worry about your little ole butt, you brat," Sully said, returning the kiss.

"I think someone got out of bed a little too early," Fox said, with a knowing smile.

"I’m one of them," Alex said, with a huge yawn.

"Bad night?" Cooper asked.

"Let’s say, it was a night I will not be looking to repeat anytime soon," Alex said, his eyes closed and his face turned up to the sun, "Walter, leave my bacon alone."

Walter pulled back his hand and grinned sheepishly, "That’s my boy, doesn’t let anything get by him."

"Good morning, gentlemen. I hope we are not interrupting," Giancarlo said, as he and Lucca walked up to the table.

No one missed the fact that the new arrivals were holding hands, and that Lucca seemed much more subdued that he had been the previous times they had met him. He was still impeccably dressed, but did not appear to be too thrilled at being up so early.

"Good morning," Walter said, taking the lead, "We are glad you could join us, we weren’t sure you would be."

"Well, it took a little convincing on my part, but we made it," Giancarlo said, giving Lucca an amused glance. "Lucca is not a morning person."

"Morning? This isn’t morning, it’s nearly dawn," Lucca said, and yawned, making him look strikingly like Alex had a few moments earlier, "This is usually the time I go to bed."

"Would you care to join us for breakfast?" Chris asked, pointing to the two empty chairs.

"Actually, I would love to, but Lucca wanted to know if Alex, Gabriel and Cooper would care to meet with him privately," Giancarlo said.

"And he can’t ask by himself?" Alex said, his tone brusque.

"Alexei," Walter said, warningly.

"We’d love to meet with you, Lucca," Gabriel said, beaming up as he stood.

"Sure thing," Cooper said, as he also stood up, "I still want to know how you got into that dress."

"Alex?" Gabriel asked, when he noticed Alex, was still seated. "Don’t make me pull the big brother act."

"How do you know?" Lucca asked, surprised at the comment, "How do you know who is the oldest."

"We’ll explain it all to you," Alex said, as he finally came to his feet, "But I think, it’s about time someone else be the little brother and you look like a good candidate."

Lucca, couldn’t help but be confused, but decided to wait until he had more information before deciding if he wanted any part of this very unusual group of men. "We’ll be going to my home, on the coast. If you would like, you will be my guests as long as you wish. All of you," he added, looking at all the others.

"I will take you to the villa in a few hours," Giancarlo said, "It’ll give them all a chance to talk."

"Sounds like a plan," Walter said, "I haven’t had a chance to see Monte Carlo, and a would appreciate a tour."

"We can certainly arrange that," Giancarlo said, and then turned to look up at his lover, "How about I bring them home, around seven. We can have dinner at ‘Lombardi’s’."

"That would be most agreeable," Lucca said, nodding. "Gentlemen?"

As the foursome started to walk away, Fox called out, "Play nice, boys."

Four heads turned, and eight eyes rolled upwards in unison, making the others laugh.

"So?"

"So? What?"

"Come on, Alex," Fox said, exasperated by Alex’s refusal to share details of his meeting with his newly found brother. "After we got here, we went straight to dinner and you four were thick as thieves. How did it go?"

"It went well," Alex said, as he snuggled closer to Walter’s body, as the two of them spooned, facing Fox.

"Well, not at first. He wasn’t too willing to talk about personal stuff, but little by little he began to come around. He wanted to know who gave Giancarlo the idea to spank him. You should have seen his face when he said it; he was beet red."

"Like someone’s butt we know," Fox said, teasingly. "So Giancarlo spanked him. Good for him."

"Which one?" Alex asked.

"Both, I guess," Fox explained, "Giancarlo needed to show Lucca that he cares enough to punish him for taking foolish chances, and Lucca needed to know someone cares enough to do it."

"Anything else come up in conversation?" Walter asked.

"His mother is quite a character," Alex said.

"Maybe, she can shed some light as to how you all became separated," Fox said, "Maybe, she was part of the group that worked with…"

"Enough of conspiracies, for tonight, Fox," Walter said, as he felt Alex stiffen slightly in his arms. "So what happens next?"

"He and Giancarlo are planning to come to the States in a few weeks," Alex said, "Giancarlo is going to keep the restaurant but they will be traveling between Washington, and here. Lucca said, we are welcomed to stay as long as we want, but I know you have to go back to work Walter, so…"

"I don’t have to go back," Walter said, "Well, not right away at least."

"Why not?" Fox said, surprised, "Not that I’m not glad, but isn’t the Director going to have a problem with you taking more time off."

"He had more of a problem when I handed in my retirement papers," Walter said.

Both Alex and Fox sat up and stared at him in utter bewilderment. "You what?" Fox said, being the first to regain his voice.

"I am retiring from the Bureau," Walter said.

"Well done Apollo," Zeus said, as the images on the television set faded to black.

"Thank you, father," the blond God said, "I have some leads on the next one, but it will take some time to unravel them."

"I hope the next one is a little more friendly," Aphrodite said, pouting.

"You can’t expect them all to take the news that they are clones, and have six other brothers they knew nothing about, in the same way," Hestia, Goddess of the Family said, "I’ll work on Lucca. He’ll come around, he has a good heart."

"Maybe I’ll give you a hand, Aunt H," Hermes, Messenger of the Gods and God of Thieves and Gamblers said.

"So Artemis, who’s next?" Zeus asked his record-keeping daughter.

"Ace," Artemis said, using the nickname the family had given Asklepios, God of Healing.

"So Ace, what are you planning to do with our boys?" Hera asked her grandson.

"Actually, it’ll be myself and Hygieia," the younger God said, referring to his daughter, the Goddess of Health.

"Yeah," Hygieia said, excitedly, "Pops said I could help him. I get them sick and he…"

"Hold it right there," Aphrodite, always the defender of the mortal trio, said, "What do you mean get them sick?"

"Only a little sick, ‘Dite," Ace said, quickly, "Besides, what better way to see how well they get along, than to see how they act when they are sick."

"It actually sounds like fun," Ares, always one to enjoy someone else’s discomfort said, "Give them some really awful, flesh eating virus thingy."

"No flesh eating virus anything," Zeus said, looking at Ace and Hygieia.

"Hey, what about this Walter thing," Aphrodite asked, "You know, he retiring."

"That he did on his own," Apollo said, "As far as I know, he made the choice unaided by any of us."

Zeus, looked around the table and saw all the heads nod in agreement, that they had nothing to do with Walter’s decision, "Very well, I guess, sometimes they are capable of thinking for themselves. Mortals, got to love them. Meeting adjourned."
