Welcome to the "Changes Page"

HOME

This page is dedicated to letting you know why I made my site the way that I did. The first thing I want to mention though, is a thank you. I never would have gotten this site up and running without the help of Patrick and Katrina. Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving my butt and my grade!

The web site that I have now is almost a completely different site than the one that I had up a couple of months ago. That site was, well, it was kind of ugly. That was before I was introduced to the wonderful world of color. I played with a lot of different colors and to be honest not many looked or worked right. You can see for yourself which ones were successful just by looking through my page. I also tried to follow the advise of Spider Pro to "keep a consistent look and feel."

I really feel that reading the Spider Pro Styleguide was useful to me once I was at the "tuning up" stage of making this site. I realized that little things can make a big difference on the web. One of the things I tried to do was put links at the top and bottom of my page, especially to my home page.

I did make a couple of changes in regard to the graphics that were on my page. I erased the one on my home page because it was irrelevant and it interfered with the feel of the entire site (that is bad). I did not, however, change any of the links on the first page, only added a few more. The reason I didn't change any of those is because they all tell a little bit about who I am outside of the classroom. Of course, part of who I am is being (somewhat of) a practical joker, and a Dawson's Creek viewer (and, NO, I am not kidding), so that is where the Shrine of the One True God comes from.

I didn't make as many changes as I did just add new pages, links , etc. I found, to my surprise that this was a fun asssignment to do, and I do plan to keep this updated. If you would like to give me feedback, or have any questions, you can email me at [email protected]. Thank you again to all who made this site possible, and for all of you who had patience with me while I was (slowly) learning how to be a computer geek! Kendal
