Transformed Reality 1 - The treasure series

"Treasure" because I hope enjoy these images. They derive from a long prosess of experimenting into digital texture of manipultated photographic images. By going "cross stream" in NOT avoiding loss of photographic quality but looking for a texture in the consequences of heavy use of the digital tools, these images are the results of that prosess.

All though I hope they will be talking directly to your subconsiousness as only the sacred paintings of Marc Rohtko can do, they are not paintings, nor photographies. They are digital derived images with a texture and a quality dimension that nighter painting nor photography can reach; captured colours and shades made up of a surten amount of pixels, nothing more and nothing less. Most of its pixels, 99%, are artificially created through increasing the image resolution.
