Dennis Ward Dennis Ward was flying Big Birds when I was just learning to fly RC, about 20 years ago. He is an expert in painting and a heck of an R/C pilot. Dennis's Email is [email protected] (204) 889-5334 The Pond Racer is his newest project, built from the Sky Aviation kit, 104" ws, 28.5 pounds, 2x ST 3250's, 16x16 APC props. December 29, 2001 Pond racer heads south.
We stopped over at Dennis's garage and met Al & Amy R. from __ Nebraska. Al purchased the pond racer from Dennis and is taking it home to his farm. What's a 10 hour drive to pick up a model, eh? My address to send the popcorn can to next Xmas is....
Dennis is also working on this huge Cessna 172 for Horace Smaczylo. The model is from a Parker kit, 108: ws, 25 pounds, Quadra 42 engine.
