This web site contains most information in my new database of the USA.  The database is created in the Microsoft Access format and is completely contained in a PC file named usa.mdb.  If you are interested in obtaining a copy, contact me.

According to the US Census Bureau, by July 1, 2001 there were 284,796,887 people living in the USA.  Population figures for the states are on that page.  Click it above.

The federal government is composed of three branches: executive, legislative and judicial.  The President, obviously, is the head of the executive.  Less obvious, the Speaker of the House is essentially the head of the legislative branch and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is the head of the judicial.  All of these leaders will have data in this database.  Some of these individuals have held more than one of these positions.  For instance, William Howard Taft was President and later Chief Justice.

There will also be data on the Vice Presidents and a detailed breakdown of all presidential elections.

Now that most of the data is organized I will probably begin a narrative highlighting fascinating information contained in he details.
