Ambassador Championship Match
Mark Pearson vs. Ken Kaze ©
The
Columbians gave a heartfelt response as “Supernaut” by 1000 Homo DJ’s
played throughout the public announce system. One half of the Pearson Brothers,
the older brother to Jesse Pearson, made his way through the curtains. This man
was none other than the thirteen year veteran, Mark Pearson. As he made his way
ringside, he made sure to interact with the fans by giving off high fives.
Mark
was about to receive a shot at the Ambassador Championship. This match was the
result of a proposition he offered to his brother, Jesse, earlier in the
evening. With Jesse’s loss last week to Eron, Mark informed Jesse that he
would need to get better if he wanted to remain Mark’s partner.
Coincidentally, Jolt’s Ambassador overheard the conversation and challenged
Mark to a match later in the evening to prove his worthiness.
As
Mark Pearson began conversing with the designated referee for the following
match, Jared Alexx, the lights had completely shut off.
DOOMSDAY
JESUS
“I’M
THE CHAMPEEN, BITCH!” echoed over the P.A. system. The voice eerily, and
unfortunately, sounded familiar. “Legend of Zelda” by System of a Down
replaced the echo as emerald green, golden yellow, and white pyrotechnics
erupted from the stage and ring posts. The Nationwide Arena erupted with cheers
as one of Jolt’s premier superstars made his entrance. The flares died and the
lights returned. Strolling down the ramp was the Ambassador Champion himself,
Ken Kaze, with George the Trashcan at his side.
Kaze
made sure George had a special seat at the announce table in between Damien Lee
and Mike Mixx. Mixx attempted to argue this, but Kaze simply ignored him and
slid into the ring. He un-strapped the Ambassador Championship from around his
waist and handed it to Jared Alexx, who held it high in the air for everyone to
see to signify that it was on the line. Eventually, the belt was handed off to
Clippie Da Clown.
DING!
DING! DING!
Mark
Pearson was eager to take a dive at the Champ, looking for the usual
collar-and-elbow tie-up. However, staying one step ahead, Ken armdragged him
across the ring. Pearson was up to his feet instantly, though, and charging at
Kaze once more. A second armdrag takeover was sufficient to send Mark across the
ring once more. This time it was Ken who charged his opponent, but taken over
with an armdrag from Pearson.
Both
men hustled to their feet as the audience began to cheer at their attempts to
one-up the other. Mark decided to bounce off of the ropes and use momentum to
charge at Ken this time. As he approached his opponent, he leapt into the air
and connected with a flying fist that caught Ken on the forehead, sending him
into the ropes. Back on his feet, Pearson charged Kaze once more, delivering an
elbow smash to the face of the Resident Moron.
Clutching
his face, Ken began to stumble away into a corner.
