Ambassador Championship Match

Fret Magic vs. Ken Kaze ©

"Head Creeps" by Alice In Chains played over the public announce system. There were no fireworks, no pyrotechnics, no special explosions, and no surprises. However, the sold out Washington, D.C. crowd still rose to their feet as Fret Magic paced through the curtain.

He snagged hands on the way down as he slid into the ring, bouncing around in ritual fashion to prepare him for his first real break in Jolt since his beginning. It was at the latest Jolt Wrestling event, which happened to be the May pay-per-view extravaganza appropriately named the Mayfall, that Magic and the rest of the enhancement talent squad decided to raise up beyond their status of jobberdom. No longer would they take the fall in order to push other wrestlers into higher ranks. This was their time to shine.

That means, this wouldn’t be an easy victory for his opponent tonight. This wouldn’t be no pushover.

NEW Ambassador Champeen, Biznatches

Your Doomsday Jesus

KEN F’N KAZE

The words flashed across the RaveTron as "Legend of Zelda" by System Of A Down echoed throughout the MCI Center. For this specific individual, a fancy entrance was in order. Illumination had escaped the venue as emerald green, golden yellow, and white flares rose from the stage and the ring posts, which inevitably caused Magic to almost jump out of his skin.

Uproar broke out amongst the crowd as the entire coliseum was on their feet, applauding the Hero of Hardcore. As the pyrotechnics died down and the lights returned, Ken Kaze strolled out through the curtains, George the Trashcan raised high into the air. The Ambassador Championship was securely fastened around the faithful trashcan companion. More notably, Kaze’s new attire seemed to resemble someone else from the roster. More specifically: a past champion. Even more specifically: a past Ambassador Champion.

Indeed, Kaze’s attire reflected Kenjiro Ito’s. Ken was striding down the entranceway clad in a marvelous green robe. He stopped as he neared ringside to set George upon the steps. Upon entering the ring, he disrobed himself literally and threw it to the outside.

Referee Jared Alexx checked on both men. The two combatants nodded in approval for the start of the match.

DING! DING! DING!

The two men began to circle each other, looking to apply the mutual collar-and-elbow tie-up. As both men reached in to connect, Ken dropped to one knee, swiveling around to the backside of Magic whilst locking in a rear waistlock. A double leg takedown sent Fret to the canvas face first. However, his face became even more acquainted with the mat as Ken followed up with a kneedrop to the back of Fret’s head.

The referee warned Ken about the lethal maneuver as he lifted his opponent to his feet. With a front facelock applied, Ken snapped Magic over with a vertical suplex. The Hero of Hardcore rose to his feet quickly and stood upon the second turnbuckle in the nearest corner. He leapt into the air connecting with an elbow drop across Magic’s sternum. It was merely impulse as Ken went for the pinfall attempt so early.

ONE!

Kickout from Magic. Ken rose to his feet as Fret scrambled to his. Both men began to stare each other down. It was Magic who broke the staredown as he charged the Ambassador of Jolt. A spear took Ken to the mat. Additionally, a barrage of fists were thrown into the champion’s face. Fists were accompanied by elbows and forearms, anything and everything sufficient enough to render someone useless.

As Alexx pulled Magic from Kaze, the Ambassador Champ was able to pull himself up to his feet. Fret broke free from the referee’s restraint and slid underneath Ken’s legs. He popped up behind him instantly before delivering a devastating inverted DDT. An elbow drop across the throat added emphasis to the string of attacks.

Magic grasped a hold of Ken’s legs as if he were about to flip him over and apply a Boston Crab. Instead, he locked his arms underneath Ken’s knee joints and sent him flying over the top rope to the outside with a gigantic slingshot!

The crowd broke out into a frenzy, a combination of cheers and jeers. Kaze was rolling around on the padding below, as Alexx began the count. Ken eventually pulled himself up to his feet. Kaze was now standing on the arena floor and referee Jared Alexx tried to negotiate to get him back into the ring. Kaze motioned him off, trying to take a break from Magic’s unforeseen burst of energy.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Magic climbed the far turnbuckle, smiling at the crowd who was appreciating the work put on by Magic in a bout he was picked to lose. He hopped down and sauntered up behind Alexx and motioned for Kaze to return to the squared circle as well.

Kaze’s eyes widened, and as Fret turned to laud his newfound fan base, he was crushed by a chair shot that seemed to shake the first three rows. How Alexx didn’t hear Fret’s skull reverberate from the chair shot from his new enemy, Polar, was unbelievable. Polar rolled out of the ring and Kaze jumped at the chance to end the bout.

Though he usually felt morally inclined to inform the official of the match of illegal proceedings happening through the course of his matches, he decided against it. For some unknown reason, one of his past rivals was helping him achieve a win. Perhaps it was more an act of injustice toward Fret than it was to help Kaze, but either way, it left the Ambassador Champion dumbfounded. Shrugging his shoulders, he dropped to make the pinfall.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

"Legend of Zelda" by System Of A Down roared throughout the arena as Ken stood to his feet. He was handed his Ambassador championship title as he slid out of the ring. The fans were jeering due to the outcome. They didn’t want to see Kaze’s first title defense end like this. Especially not so short. Alas, that’s how the wind blows . . . or something like that.

As Ken disappeared into the back, Polar climbed into the ring, armed with a microphone.

"This . . . this is what veterans do, Magic-man."

The crowd began to boo Polar, naturally. He merely smiled at them.

"Oh, let me guess. You mouth-breathers wanted the Magician to win?"

The fans began the usual chant:

"YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!"

Polar laughed as Magic started to shake off the damage, struggling to get to his feet.

"They wanted you to win! They like you, rook!"

"I’m not a rookie!" Magic said clear enough, and loud enough for the ring microphones to pickup.

"I’ve earned this! I earned the respect these people give me! The respect the guys in the back know I deserve!" Polar hollered.

"YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!"

Polar turned his attention to the crowd: "SHUT UP!"

Fret laughed at Polar, and this sent the verbal attack into something much more. Fret attempted to gather his feet underneath him as he was met with a solid right hook from Polar, sending the high flyer to the canvas. Polar dragged him to the one of the nearby corners as the jeers continued.

"YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!"

Polar smiled at the crowd as he lifted Magic up high and sent him crashing to the wrestling surface with an thunderous top rope powerbomb.

ICECAP!

Magic was out cold.

Polar bounced to his feet as his music blared, and wagged his finger at the young Jolt star before disappearing up the entryway.

Winner: Ken Kaze via pinfall (by way of Polar’s interference with a chair)

Time: 4:10
