Monday Night Wars Reborn

Vince McMahon is desperatly trying to revive his WWE. Looking back, he finds that wrestling's popularity and ratings were best during the "Monday Night Wars". So he decided to completely split the Raw and Smackdown brands. 

He "sells" the Raw brand to Shane and the Smackdown brand to Stephanie. The only legal connection between the two brands is that Vince owns 49% of both and has the option after 2 years of buying back the other 51% from either or both brands if their performance fails to meet certain benchmarks. 

Before selling the brands, Vince gets UPN to move Smackdown to Monday nights from 9 to 11 to compete with Raw. UPN was hesitant but somehow Vince convinced them to do it. The Monday Night Wars are back.


Basically this is a roster split scenario with the addition of a head to head showdown on Monday Nights. This is basically the previously posted Rufas scenario with a few changes and a snazzy new title. 

This is also a "lite" scenario. The database only consists of 8 promotions and 598 wrestlers. This will help those with smaller computers. The feds are:

WWF: The Smackdown brand renamed (oh yeah, Vince beat the panda people). Global Level.

RAW: The Raw brand renamed (lamely) Really Awesome Wrestling. Also Global level.

NWATNA: The only current real life competition for WWE is here in all its glory. National level.

LOW: Legends of Wrestling, old heroes and villians brought together by Dusty Rhodes and a group of investors. No written contracts. National Promotion.

XPW: Everyone's favorite extreme promotion. Also serves as the Cult level promotion.

CZW: Regional level fed.

SW: Small level fed picked for its appeal to Canadians

BWF: Backyard Wrestling Federation at the (you guessed it) Backyard level. It was created by me and has 6 wrestlers and (I believe) 4 staff.

Hopefully I didn't eliminate your favorite wrestler or Promotion in my efforts to make the database smaller. Several wrestlers have had their stats altered as well. Hope you enjoy and constructive feedback is encouraged.
