| All of Kemazo's members are Christian, and they share the same fundamental protestant beliefs. Thomas and Joshua do not consider themselves to be part of a denomination, and Christopher belongs to the Lutheran Church. As Christians, we believe that Jesus Christ was God incarnate who came to redeem man from their sins. There is only one God who created us, judges the wicked, and justifies the faithful. We also believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God; concequently it is flawless in every respect. Also, Man is saved by God's grace; through faith as recorded in the book of Ephesians. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not the result of works, so that no one can boast." --Ephesians 2:8-9. Works and repentance do not save, but are still an important part of the Christians' lives. Repentance is the natural progression of faith. Once one truely comes to believe that Christ payed the penalty for his or her sins, and that every sin that he or she commits hurts Jesus our savior, who does not in any way deserve that pain as he was blameless, one can not help but to repent for this. This is like if a kindly man pays the full price for a new house when you are in need, and you repay him back by punching him across the face for no reason. When this happens you can not help but feel remorce and want to make amends. Works are evidence of faith, but no one can be saved by doing good works. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."--Romans 3:23-24 Man should always strive to accomplish Gods will, for it is always better to follow Gods will rather than mans. Man is flawed, and this is not the result of something that God has done but both man and Satan. God gave man free will to either do good or bad. From the beginning man has chosen to go down the wrong path as the first humans, Adam and Eve, gave in to Satan's temptation to disobey God. Because of our imperfection we need a savior, so we can once again be united with the perfect God. Being a Christian is not a one time event. A Christian needs commitment to God or else his or her faith will burn out. The preceeding was an overview of the religious beliefs of Kemazo. Being written by a human mind, it is not perfect, so I urge you to read the Holy Bible. This is not the full extent of Kemazo's belief system. It would be impossible to write out all our beliefs on one page of a web site. This page was made only to give you a better understanding of what the Kemazoans believe about religion and the Bible. If you have any questions or comments you can post them on our message board or E-mail [email protected]. God bless you, and may your life be in Christ. |
