Episodes 1-10

Bea is shocked when Chrissy returns to Wentworth after being released a week earlier, Chrissy informs the women that Lynn Warner is being inducted, a child killer. Lynn refuses to strip for a shower, so Vera and Ann Yates man handle her and throw her into the cold water. Karen Travers is inducted. Mum's daughter calls Erica to tell her there is no room for her in her house. Lizzie questions Bea on the topdog status after her imminent departure. Meg Morris gladly accepts a promotion to Deputy Governor from Erica Davidson. Dr. Greg realises an old flame is inside, Karen Travers. Vera threatens Franky with a transfer to D Block. Doreen is unhappy when her parole meeting is put back a few weeks.
Chrissy finally tells Bea she is inside for embezzelment. Lizzie returns from hospital after her recent flu and is teased by Marilyn, who tells her she is dying. Bea questions Meg about Lynn Warner, but Meg denies anything. Erica decides Lynn should be placed in Isolation for the time being. Karen meets Greg but doesn't remember him. Lizzie is forced into selling her medication. Erica tries to cheer Mum up but, she fails to make her feel any better. Karen meets Franky who comes onto her to Doreen's horror.
Marilyn kisses Greg and threatens to tell everyone her kissed her, if he wants her to lay off, she wants the pill. Eddie turns up for work and tells Lizzie secretly that he has another love in his life. Chrissy pleads with Erica to get her a visit soon. Bill is upset when Meg tells him about her job promotion. Eddie fails at trying to tell Marilyn about his secret. Bea and Mum are center of attention at a party which is cut short by Anne Yates who puts Doreen on a charge for organising it. Doreen worries she'll lose her chance of parole.
Lynn requests that she be sent to meet the other women as soon as possible. Karen explains to Doreen that Franky still loves her more than anything. Bill applies for a job in Adelaide to upset Meg, Lizzie collapses in the rec room. Erica hastily agrees to let Lynn mix with the other women. Chrissy almost blows the cover on Eddies secret. As Bea and Mum are being escorted to reception, Lynn passes by. Bea recognizes her and loses control, she knocks her to the floor.
Erica soon lets her know that she'll be spending the next few nights in solitary, and she can say goodye to her release. Erica escots Mum out of the prison as Vera drags Bea up to solitary. Chrissy makes sure she is the first to take over the press. Doreen sneaks into the infirmary to see Lizzie.. Vera snarls at Bea in solitary and promises her a cosy stay in solitary.

Greg informs Lizzie that she shouldn't have sold her medication, and should be put on a charge. Bea wrecks solitary and is summoned to Erica's office. Meg shows Lynn to her single cell. Bill gets word from the job company that there is a space available if he wants it. Erica threatens to lengthen Bea's sentence by months. Chrissy meets Lynn and is impressed when she tells her about Bea's outburst.
Lizzie overhears Marilyn threaten Greg. Karen tries to avoid Franky, this angers Franky and she takes it out on some sheets in the laundry. Bea returns to solitary and threatens Vera (who puts her on another charge). Mum is upset when she can't afford to stay anywhere. Lizzie tells Doreen about Marilyn's bribary.
Meg is upset when Bill turns up at Wentworth with his notice. Ann Yates promises Vera backup in her plan to get Bea Smith sent to Barnhurst. Chrissy asks Lynn to help her in her quest to become topdog. Mum meets an old friend Beryl who implies she go back on the game as 'older' women are wanted, Mum rejects this and plans to seek out a good halfway house.
Doreen nearly spills the beans on Marliyn about her bribary. Eddie promises to bring Lizzie some grog if she keeps quiet about his affair. Vera makes sure the women know that Bea will be inside for another month or two. Meg begs with Bill and offers to give up her promotion.
Mum finds a halfway house but is ashamed to enter. Anne Yates visits Bea in hospital and tricks her into believing she is against Vera. Sally Lee arrives on H Block from C Block, she makes an immediate enemy with Chrissy. Mum gathers the courage to enter the halfway house and is glad when a room is available.
Doreen questions Lynn's honesty and asks her about the child. Karen remembers who Greg is when she reads an old newspaper clipping. Marilyn suspects Eddie is not really what he says he is, she thinks he's gay. Bea pleads to be let out of solitary. Lizzie lets Greg know she overheard the conversation earlier. Chrissy bosses Franky about in the laundry, which leads Franky into believing that she should be the right topdog, she challenges Chrissy to a fight.

Chrissy suggests a vote for the topdog chair. Bea pleads with Erica to let her at least mix with the other women, but Erica fears for their safety. Karen visits Greg and they chat about the past. Chrissy pushes Lynn into agreeing to be her backup, mostly because she has brains. Franky asks Sally Lee to help get rid of Chrissy. Mum strikes a friendship with Nora, another girl at the halfway house.
Meg asks Bea to be careful as she escorts her back to her cell. Bill reconsiders leaving for a new job, but realises he can't take back his notice. Lizzie returns to her dorm and Doreen won't let her do anything herself. Marilyn asks Eddie about his sexuality. Just before the vote for topdog begins, Bea returns to the recroom.
Vera and Anne plan further on Bea's downfall only to be overheard by Karen. Franky continues to hate Chrissy, even after Bea's reinstatement. Nora informs Mum she's planning a daring bank job. Karen informs Bea about Vera's plans but Bea pays no head. Erica is offered a job as head of department but she rejects.
Lizzie hassles Eddie about the grog he promised her, she is livid when he brings her chocolates instead. Meg is worried when Marty tells her he wants to move away with Bill when he gets his new job. Chrissy asks Lynn to search Franky's cell for anything that'll help them. Doreen takes Lizzie's chocolates away for her own self pleasure.
Greg refuses to give Marilyn any medication. Karen tries to make Bea aware that Vera and Anne are planning something big. Nora asks Mum to give her an alibi on the night of the bank job, Mum hesitates but agrees in the end up. Bea approaches Anne about her so called plans and threatens her with a bashing.
Lizzie finds Doreen in convultions of laughter in her cell and thinks she's drunk. Erica is unsure about her career as her contract renewal is a month overdue. Meg approaches Bill about Marty's future. Lynn searches Franky's dorm and finds nothing of any use. She is shocked when face by Sally Lee. Sally attacks Lynn and leaves her lying on the ground.
Chrissy worries about Lynn's timing. Bea discovers Lynn lying in a pile and smirks, just then, Anne Yates and Meg arrive on the scene and blame Bea for the attack.

Vera congratulates Anne on catching Bea out. Erica enquires about transferring Bea to Fairlea. Lizzie visits Bea in solitary with her food and calls her stupid. Marilyn asks her sister, who visits her to spy on Eddie. Greg tells Lizzie that the chocolates her gave her, where spliced with liquor. Chrissy visits Lynn in solitary and thanks her for helping her cause, even if she didn't mean to.
Mum helps Nora prepare for the robbery, but gets cold feet. Lizzie gives Doreen the silent treatment. Greg gets Marilyn some laxatives when she asks for some more tablets. Vera informs Bea that it won't be long before she's transfered. Lizzie lets slip of Marilyn's blackmailing to Karen. Franky suspects Sally had something to do with Bea's set up.
Karen questions Greg over Marilyn's blackmailing. Chrissy thanks Lynn by slipping her $100 in the infirmary. Meg waves goodbye to Bill as he leaves for Adelaide, without Marty. Anne Yates informs the women that Bea is likely to be transferred by nightfall. Marilyn's sister breaks into Eddie's house and searches it for any evidence.
Eddie gives Lizzie a bottle of grog to say sorry for the confusion about the chocolates. Erica is livid when the department won't fund Bea's transfer away from the prison. Marty tells Meg he hates her. Chrissy makes sure the women vote on a new topdog straight away. Franky asks Sally about the attack and finally gets the truth out of her. Greg asks Karen to keep the blackmailing secret, but she refuses.
Lizzie overhears Erica and Vera discussing Bea's transfer. Mum wishes Nora good luck as she leaves for the bank. Lizzie tells the women the good news about Bea, but Chrissy refuses to let Bea stay as topdog. Franky visits Lynn in the infirmary and threatens her with a knife. Lizzie finds that her grog has gone missing.
Vera asks Anne to move into her house with her. Lizzie sneaks Bea a letter about the problems with her transfer. Karen questions Marilyn about her blackmailing, but she passes out before she confesses. Meg finds that Marty has went missing, she panics and calls the police.
Bea teases Erica about the cockup with her transfer plans. Nora returns to the house with a bag full of cash. The police arrive at Meg's and warn her, that anything can happen, and they mightn't find Marty. Dead or Alive

Lizzie visits Lynn in the infirmary and warns her about Chrissy. Erica sends Bea back to H Block and gives her no priveleges. Meg is worried when she can't get in contact with Bill. Greg realisies Marilyn fainted from dehydration. Anne believes that Vera fancies her and turns her offer down immediately. Lynn returns from the infirmary.
Chrissy refuses to let Bea take over the press. Lizzie asks Doreen to give back her grog, even though she didn't steal it. Greg blames the air conditioning in Wentworth for Marilyn's dehydration to cover his tracks. Anne tries to avoid Vera in the staff room. Bea asks Franky to give her the name of who was really responsible for the beating. Doreen thinks Vera is the one with Lizzies alcohol.
Franky covers for Sally Lee. Bea throws Chrissy from the press and makes a show of her. Lizzie starts to believe Lynn's version of events about the child kidnapping story. Chrissy swears revenge on Bea. Taking Greg's allegation seriously, Erica plans on buying an extravagent air conditioning system. Karen delivers Marilyn her dinner and once again questions her about the blackmailing.
Mum is horrified when the police turn up at the halfway house looking for Nora. Chrissy quickly asks Lynn to help her one more time. Anne requests a transfer and Erica is amused by her story about Vera. Marilyn denies that she is blackmailing Greg, and makes an accusation that he raped her, only to be overheard by Vera.
Mum gives Nora an alibi but is awestruck when the discover the money under Mum's bed. Bill finally gets in contact and upsets Meg when he blames her for being a bad mother. Erica refuses to transfer Anne, because she's a good officer. Mum is arrested and man handled by the police who throw her to the floor. Vera tells Erica about Marilyn's allegations. Karen questions Greg and he denies everything but Karen doesn't believe him.
Doreen gets wary of Franky's relationship with Sally. Lizzie accuses Eddie of taking the grog back. Erica reports Marilyn's accusations to the police. Doreen blames Franky for ignoring her. Chrissy takes Lynn to her cell, and shows her a roll of barbed wire, she asks her to use it on Bea. Bea overhears Lynn refusing.

At muster, Meg informs Bea that she will have a visit from her friend Val. Erica agrees with Vera that the women should not hear about Greg's dismissal yet. Anne Yates taunts Mum about being reinducted into prison and doesn't believe her story about her accomplice.
Bea informs Chrissy that her game is up now that Lynn has backed out of the plans.
Franky agrees that the only way she and Doreen can be together properly is in a different environment. Karen tells the women of Greg's dismissal. Lizzie catches Greg drinking the grog he brought in for her.
Anne asks Vera to drop the lesbian act only to be laughed at. Valerie informs Bea that Lynn Warner is only in Wentworth because of a cockup on the departments behalf. Greg is upset when he is charged with the rape of Marilyn. Lizzie threatens to tell Marilyn Eddie's little secret. Erica fails to realise that Meg is upset and send hers into the boiler room all alone - Meg hallucinates that she's found Marty's body.
Chrissy demands that Lynn hand back the $100 but Bea stops her in her tracks. Eddie informs Lizzie that Marliyn has to find out some time. Bea makes sure that Lynn is aware of her knowledge about her imprisonment. When Marilyn is on her way back to her cell when Karen corners her and finds out that Greg is innocent. Mum suggests a protest in favour of Lynn's imprisonment.
Meg confides in Erica about her troubles at home. Lizzie decides that no good would come from telling Marilyn. Doreen and Franky decide to use the protest as cover for their escape. As Greg is about to be put into a Paddy Wagon he breaks down into tears. Anne and Vera come to blows again over the rota. Erica consoles Meg until she finds out that Meg is handing in her resignation. Doreen buys a copy of a key from a prisoner in the recroom. Marilyn is overjoyed when she is told her sister has come to visit her privately.
Bea informs all the women that there will be no protest. Instead there will be a full scale riot.

Marilyn's sister tells Marilyn about Eddie's sordid affair. Doreen lets slip to Lizzie that she and Franky soon will leave Wentworth. Erica dismisses Meg so she can have some more time to think about her resignation. Mum tries to talk Bea out of causing trouble and ruining her chances of freedom. Greg is laughed at by officers at Woodridge when he makes allegations against Marilyn.
Vera makes a lewd remark about Bea's daughter only to be attacked by a mob of prisoners - signalling the start of the riot. Meg returns home and thrashes her living room. Bea and the others hold a meeting in the recroom and try to plan the riot even further. Marilyn meets Eddie in the corridor and threatens him, telling him she knows his secret.
Bea thrashes a cell and sets light to the mattress. Erica and Anne are horrified when the fire alarm sounds. Franky and Doreen sneak through an empty reception, heading for solitary. Mum comforts a distraught Lynn who blames herself for the riot.
Anne sounds the riot alarm - shutting all of the prison gates. Chrissie sees her chance and attacks Bea from behind. As the prison fills with smoke Franky and Doreen hurridly try and open one of the riot gates. Erica orders backup from Woodridge and Barnhurst. Meg decides that she needs to find Marty herself.
Franky informs Doreen that the key isn't going to work. It's Jammed!
Karen finds Bea unconcious in her cell and worries she might die. Greg is distraught when he finds out about the riot at Wenworth. Bea comes to and tells Karen she'll make sure Chrissie gets what is coming to her. Erica demands that Lizzie finds Bea and persusades her to end the riot. Franky comforts Doreen as they realise they need help in order to survive.
Bea is talked around by Lynn to ending the riot for her own sake. Anne aids Vera and realises that all Vera wants is friendship. Fire engines turn up at Wentworth. Meg books a flight to Adelaide. Greg is bashed when his cellmates find out he worked in a prison. Erica is escorting Bea to solitary when they discover the body of Eddie lying motionlessly under his ladder.

Erica sends Bea to get help. Greg is put on a charge for influencing violence. Vera finds Doreen and Franky lying unconcious. Some firemen inform Erica that there is hardly enough damage to make a transfer necessary. Lizzie doubts Marilyns innocence. Police arrive at the prison to question the women about the incident.
Erica informs the staff that Eddie was pronounced dead soon after arriving at the hospital. Lynn's legal representative turns up at Wentworth demanding her release. Bea is taken to solitary for starting the riot, Franky wakes up in the infirmary and is worried when Doreen isn't responding to treatment.
Lynn breaks down infront of the police when they are questioning her. Karen challenges Chrissie about her attack on Bea. Mum's daughter visits her and tries to make amends. Erica arrives at Megs house and finds the house empty. Anne and Vera make peace and Anne agrees to move in with her. The department decide Lynn needs to be released.
Chrissie visits Bea in solitary delivering her meal and she informs her that the women will soon come to their senses.
Meg is about to board a plane to Adelaide when Erica turns up at the airport. Mum is devastated when her daughter tells her she has leukemia. Doreen is transferred to a hospital via helicopter in a bid to save her life. Meg doesn't change her mind and boards the plane anyway.
Karen overhears Marilyn tell Chrissie her allegations against Greg are lies. Franky takes out her anger on Sally. Lizzie comforts Mum. Erica returns to Wentworth and immediately makes Vera deputy governor. Medics work franticly with Doreen. Anne helps Lynn pack her belongings for her release but is shocked when she finds cocaine and other drugs, Lynn is upset when Anne charges her with handling drugs, as she is led out of her cell - Chrissie laughs in her face.

Erica sends Lynn to solitary for the drug offence although she doesn't believe she's guilty. Karen recieves a letter about her court case - It's been postponed. Chrissie asks Marilyn to watch her back when Bea is released from solitary. Erica contacts Bill in Adelaide and warns him about Megs state of mind. Lizzie passes Bea a note informing her about Lynns situation.
Karen corners Marilyn about her involvement in Greg's charges.
The police inform Erica that they believe that Chrissie is the culprit in the murder of Eddie. Anne is undermined by Vera at work. Mum tells Lizzie she's planning on giving her daughter all her savings to help pay for her treatment. Marilyn admits to Karen that she made up the rape allegation, and gloats.
Franky considers suicide when he believes he's killed Doreen. Anne releases Bea from solitary and brags about Lynn's stay in solitary. The governor from Woodridge informs Erica that Greg has been put on suicide watch. Mum decides that her daughter won't want her money and decides to keep her savings.
Doreen returns to Wentworth in a state of shock. Karen threatens Marilyn with revealing her secret. Lynn sobs herself to sleep in solitary. Doreen doesn't remember anything about the riot and mistakes Bea for Lizzie. Anne breaks one of Vera's favourite ornaments. Bea tells Lizzie that she's going to get Chrissie.
Sally is transfered to C Block. Mum is surprised when she thinks she has seen Nora being inducted. Vera insults Anne once again. Erica recieves a phone call from Meg who apologises for her actions. When Bea arrives at Chrissie's cell she finds Karen and Marilyn, Karen forces Mairlyn to tell Bea her secret.. But to her surprise she admits killing Eddie,

Erica is contacted by Meg who apologises for her rash decision and promises she'll soon return. Karen and Bea pressure Marilyn into confessing to Eddie's murder before anyone else is charged. Mum is visited by a neighbour who doubts Mum's daughters honesty about her illness. Lizzie comforts Doreen and warns her off Franky.
Franky is undermined by Chrissie. Mum meets Nora after her induction and pleads with her to tell the truth. Vera inducts Helen Masters and bullies her into handing over some money she tried to smuggle inside. Anne asks Erica if there is any chance for a transfer. Franky accuses Chrissie of brainwashing Doreen.
Bea puts more pressure on Marilyn by threatening to kill her. Lynn is released from solitary. Helen meets Doreen and quickly they become friends. Erica is shocked when Marilyn turns up at her door and tells her she has a confession to make. Mum is surprised when Nora tells her that she too has been fitted up - this time for murder. Franky challenges Chrissie to fight in the garden later.
Anne tells Vera that she'll be moving to Barnhurst after she works her 2 weeks notice. Bea informs Lizzie that she hopes Franky and Chrissie kill each other - and she can't be bothered with the topdogs position anymore. Helen asks Doreen to keep her worth secret and she'll be rewarded.
Erica informs the police about Marilyns confessions and later sends her to 72 hour solitary confinement. Bea thanks Karen for her help in getting the confession out of Marilyn. In the garden Franky attacks Chrissie with a brick. The women cheer as Lizzie begs Bea to stop it. Bea refuses until she realises Chrissie's lying motionlessly in a pool of blood. Karen orders someone to fetch a screw - Chrissie's in danger.
