I will always remember this show for the episode when Bailey was struggling with alcoholism. I was surfing TV channels then and I came across the scene, the first time I watch Party of Five. The memorable scene that got me hooked was when Bailey was arguing with the rest of the Salinger family that he is not an alcoholic. I saw his facial expression, even the tears rolling down his cheeks and thought, "Wow, you call that acting? Man, it is so real!" I guess, after watching shows like that, you understand why people complain about TCS channel 5 shows' actors who really "act" in those shows. That scene got me hooked on Party of Five.
The many "fighting" scenes between Julia (Neve Campbell) and Griffin, her husband, really tickles me for bringing up so many common tiffs among couples. Overall, I think this show has excellent acting and a plot that I can certainly identify with.
