Session 1

Feor-fin and Anarion awaken, they are healed somewhat and are tied to horses, orc voices around them.  Late afternoon of unknown day.   Cross a stream at some point.  Put on the ground they are ordered not to talk and are given orc food “vomit soup”, Anarion the survivalist eats it, knowing whom it is likely made from Feor-fin the moralist would rather starve.  Meanwhile, Lindir a young Silvan elf, has been tracking some orcs who curiously seem to be moving in the daylight in the company of horses.  Lindir comes across an encampment, works her way closer, sees an orc interrogate and cuff a man (Anarion).  Lindir shoots at the orcs, seriously wounding orc#1.  While orc #1 tries to stand holding Anarion in front of him as a shield, Feor-fin tries to tackle the orc.  At the same time Anarion with his hands tied behind his back lets loose a fire bolt between him and the orc.  The blast at close quarters kills the orc and does significant damage to the backside of Anarion.  The blast also catches Feor-fin full in the face and is badly burned.  Undeterred Feor-fin rolls, sweeps up the orc’s fallen axe and in a swift motion cuts his bonds and stands up, screaming to his god he advances on orc #2.  Feor-fin is shot by orc#2 in the leg with an arrow and Feor-fin’s battered body can no longer stand the strain.  Feor-fin falls unconscious.  Lindir has wounded orc #1, 2, and 3.  Orc #3 and 4 have gotten close to Lindir, Lindir tries to run but as she turns she twists her ankle (do the gods decree it?  Double consecutive fumble rolls).  Lindir is pummeled into unconsciousness by orc #3 and 4.  Some time later Feor-fin regains consciousness after being magically healed by the Lady.  Feor-fin sees the still unconscious forms of Anarion and an unknown elf beside him.  While questioning Feor-fin she begins to torture the beaten body of Anarion.  She cuts Feor-fin’s bonds and lets him go, telling him that she will give him two days to retrieve the stone or she will kill Anarion.  Feor-fin picks up the elf and says “On my honor I will return for my friend” the Lady is about to stop him but asks “With the stone?”   Feor-fin responds “Yes” and the Lady lets him go.   Taking the elf a distance off Feor-fin heals him.  Coming back to consciousness the elf asks in Sindarin “Who are you?”  And the burned visage of Feor-fin responds, “I am Feor-fin, and I am dammed”  *
