YELLOW

I taught her banana is yellow in color; apple is red; orange is orange;

Kelvin: Jessica, what is the color of that banana?

Jessica: Yellow! (It sounded as "yeah lo", but she did a great job!)

Kelvin: Well done, Jessica! (She smiled, and I asked again.) Then, what is the color of that apple?

Jessica: Yellow! (She still kept smiling.)

Kelvin: No! Jessica! It's red. Say once with me, "red...ed".

Jessica: Red. (It sounded likes "where", and she felt puzzled)

Kelvin: Great Jessica! So, what is the color of that orange?

Jessica: Yellow!

Kelvin: No! (I pretended angry)

Jessica: Red!

Kelvin: Is orange, Jessica!

Jessica: (She was ready to cry, which was the most terrible situation to me)

Kelvin: Okay, Jessica, banana is yellow, apple is yellow, and orange is yellow too. You are absolute right! Excellent!

Jessica: (A crying face turned to a smiling face, and she said) "Yeah...lo!"...

However, as an American family came and taught her to distinguish color, she is better now. At least, she learns five colors now: Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Orange.
