| It all started Monday 08.08.05. I and 4 other friends of mine went by train to Kristiansand. It was pretty boring with 5 hours on the train, but with good company everything is possible! When we arrived Kristiansand we went to the house where we were going to stay, it was on the Lund side of the city in the basement to Karianne�s father�s friend. After leaving all our luggage there we went to have a look at the concert hall, and then the butterflies came� hihi
The morning after we went to the hall, we wanted to be sure to get the first numbers in line, so we decided to sit there until the next day when the number ladies would come. The sun was shining, and we were sitting there in the little beach playing cards and having a lot of fun. Then after a few hours the number ladies came and they told us to go home, since they had seen us, so we wouldn�t have to stay there that night� But the strange thing is that we didn�t really want to go, because we had a nice spot there and we had a lot of fun! So we stayed a little while to chat with the other ones, and then some reporters from the local newspaper came and interviewed the family in charge of the concert, and they talked to us afterwards. When we went from the hall we had many hours to look around in the city and go out for dinner. The next day we went to the hall to actually get our numbers printed on our arms. We met a lot of friends from Norway and Denmark; it is always nice to see the people you only see at the concerts. And after everything was organized there we went a big group to the Zoo. We spent many hours there looking at all the animals and staying at the fun fair part of the park. And in the evening 10 of us Norwegian fans went out for pizza together. We had a really great time! Finally Thursday 11.08.05 � the concert day! Up bright and early to keep our numbers, so we were outside the hall at 6:30 am� zzzz�. And there we stayed talking to friends and waiting for the magic Kelly bus. Many hours later at around 1:00 pm the bus finally came. They all came out, Joey and Patricia gave some autographs and pictures with fans. But the thing I will always remember is the look of Angelo�s face when the bus came in front of the hall. He just stared and you could really see that he was surprised over all the fans standing there� hihi maybe now they can see that it really exist Norwegian Kelly fans!!!! They came out now and then to chat with the fans, and we had fun sitting there waiting, playing cards and talking. And then from 4:00 pm we sat in a line waiting to get in� We could hear the sound check really well, because all the doors were open, so they were mostly practising �We Love the Pope� and �Madre Tan Hermosa� 2 wonderful songs! At 6:00 pm they let us into the hall, I got a place in the first line on Joey�s site on the stage, but I was so disappointed because the stage was really far away from the fence� So it was like standing on the 5th raw, except that no one was standing in front of you. We tried to do the wave, clap and cheer the Kelly�s on stage, but the audience was a bit lazy� So it was mostly the fans on the first raw who made the sound. Then finally some minutes past 7:00 late as always the Kelly Family came on stage! Patricia came out to the audience dancing on �Love Music�n� Sun� and Angelo & Marco did their amazing drum solo on the drums on the ground and in the air. �Everybody� lasted over 20 minutes because Jimmy introduced everybody and they went mental and danced and had a lot of fun. Joey was talking for ages before �True Love� about how their mother was half Finnish, and that he really feels like a Scandinavian man � he was the Viking in the family. So the rest of the family is nothing, because he is the Viking, and we were a team. I think he had even more fun then us telling us all this� hihi It was very nice to hear �We Love the Pope� again. They told us that they are going to sing it for the pope on Saturday at the World Youth Day in Cologne, so they needed to practise, and didn�t have a lot of time � so we were the practise audience. They did a great job, and had made it more in a reggae style, everybody singing some lines, and Jimmy talking like their father did in the middle of it. It was also nice to hear the Spanish songs again, I love it when they sing Spanish!!! And then on �Everybody� Jimmy went on for about 20 minutes� He introduced the family and they all went mental dancing around as usual� Then we had to go mental, and it went on and on and on� heheAfter the concert we went backstage, while we were standing there waiting Sven poked me in the side to get past me into the hall again. He showed me his hands full of oil or something and said �I�m dirty and ugly, can I come past you?� Tihi� as if Sven can get ugly� ha-ha Then Martine and I went into the hall, and there was Joey. We talked to him for a while and took some photos and got autographs� And then after a little while more fans came in and so did Patricia and Angelo, so we got to meet them too. When we got outside again I got to meet Jimmy and talk to him a bit and got an autograph. (I�m still wondering why I always ask for autographs� hehe) The Kellys went into the bus and many of the fans went away, but we (Karianne, Trine Lise and I) stayed to wave goodbye to the bus. But then we saw Marco & Angelo talking outside the bus. So we walked pass Angelo and asked Marco for an autograph, and he was so friendly and took pictures with us and everything. He told us that he had some gigs in Norway a few years ago, and that he was sad that he only got to see the haven this time. Then in the middle of the conversation a lady from the crew came and gave Marco his drum heads, he looked at them a bit confused, didn�t really look like he wanted them, and then he asked us �Do you want them, or?� And of course we did. He signed mine �Love & Happiness Marco� and we also got Angelo to sign them, because it isn�t every day you get drum heads from one of the world�s best drummers!!! And then signed by 2 of the best ones� hihi no wonder we were floating on a cloud. Then after a little while they were all in place in the bus, and we waved goodbye to a smiling and waving Sven who looked out the window. Another great week was come to an end� |
