| Aabenraa 21.04.05 � R�dovre 22.04.05 � Fredrikshavn 24.04.05
Again the time was come for some concerts in Denmark. So we got on the bus Wednesday 20.04.05 to get down to Copenhagen. We arrived in Copenhagen around 00.00 at night, and ran for the night train down to Aabenraa� Unfortunelly the train didn�t go directly, so we had to change a couple of times� But since we had to wait 2 hours in the middle of the night for a bus to get to Aabenraa when we were in R�dekro, we decided to grab a taxi� well think again, at 4 a.m. in the morning� No, we didn�t find a taxi, so we started walking� 2 hours lately � we finally got to Aabenraa, happy to get a number on our hand (41-42) and then go to bed! When we woke up a bit later that day we went around town to have a look and saw Jimmy backstage for a little while. After some time in the queue in the afternoon we got into the hall� ready for the show to begin! The show started with Babylon and an incredible happy family on stage. They gave everything from the start to the end of the show, and you could see that they enjoyed being on stage. Jimmy told us that Maite was missing because she is in love. She has found her man, Florent, and would like to be with him for the time being instead of touring. He also said that Paddy is using his days praying, that�s what he needs for the moment, so even if we can�t understand it we have to support him and accept it. But they were both fine and send their greetings. Then Jimmy promised that they would kick some ass � off course running after Joey trying to kick his ass� hihi Other things which happened at the concert were that Jimmy took a girl on stage to sing her a birthday song. He also sang �Cover The Road� for another girl, Mie, who lost her mother 2 years ago, so he sang it alone on stage with his guitar in memory of her mother. Patricia was dancing around with the audience on �Love Music �n� Sun�. She mentioned some countries who were at the concert and pointed at the flags, and as always she pointed at the Norwegian flags and said Denmark� Angelo forgot the text on some songs, and sang �Leaving on a jet plane� as a solo act with his guitar. The drum solo with Marco was incredible!!!! After the concert I got to take a picture with Angelo & Patricia. Jimmy was also outside, but he was very busy talking with some other girls, so unfortanally I couldn�t get a photo together with him. The next day we woke up and took the train back to Copenhagen and R�dovre. We came there around 14.00 and got our numbers. Again the concert started with a bang and �Babylon�. But this concert was a bit different from the other ones because of a memorial in the middle of a concert. A Danish girl called Dina died the fall 2004, and her family was there that day and Jimmy had a little moment for her. He lighted a candle on stage and sang a gospel song for her called �Just A Closer Walk With Thee�. I don�t think it was a dry eye among the audience, and it was a special moment for all her friends there that night. Even we that didn�t know her felt the pain by the poor girl who died leaving her children and family behind. Joey also mentioned Dina when he sang �The Wolf�. Jimmy took sweet Maria up on stage because it was her birthday! The (and we) sang the birthday song for her. The drum solo was even more amazing then the day before� Angelo & Marco had practised playing with their sticks on the ground in hitting on each others sticks in the air� It was amazing to watch, and they are smiling from ear to ear when they are playing on stage! Then �Everybody is Beautiful� started� And gosh, what should I say� I think it is the funniest show on a song ever� They where jumping around like crazy on stage, Joey trying to push Jimmy off stage, Jimmy was throwing water on the audience, and then suddenly Angelo decided to go crazy!! He wanted to take a stage dive� But who knew that he wanted to do that on one of the sides� Poof! The poor man went on the ground� Someone catched him off course, he didn�t hit the floor at once, but he didn�t fly like he tried to� so he had to get help by his big brothers to get up on stage again� I don�t think he�ll do that again for a while� But then again, why do it when there�s a little hall with a little crowd� But after Angelo�s fiasco try Jimmy wanted to try� so he said we had to have our hands in the air and catch him� Cause he didn�t want to hit the floor� But off course he was joking around and didn�t actually do the jump� (Chicken� hihi) And Jimmy took the time to present all the people working for them� Not just the people on stage, but the people backstage and the �shop girls� and absolutely everybody!!! I think the one who got the biggest applaud was Sven� (Off course� hihi) He was also the one who got the most applauding under the dance during �Love Music �n� Sun�. And Joey saw Norway� Yeah, go us!!! Hihi we had a little banner with N O R W A Y holding one letter each, so he didn�t have a choice. So he just pointed at the banner to show us that he saw it. And then � really embarrassing!!! My friends and I turned on some lighters when Jimmy sang �Burning Fire� and out of nowhere a balloon pops up and off course �BANG� just when Jimmy started to sing� I was so embarrassed, and Matthias looked at me and laughed� Guess they understood that it was an accident, but anyhow� BLUSH! After the concert we went backstage for a little while. Both Marco & Matthias tried to enter the wrong side of the bus because the chauffer had turned it around during the concert, so they both blushed and ran to the other side� hihi Joey also came out and gave me a dedicated autograph. And after that we had to run, because we had a train to catch to get to Fredrikshavn� So when all the others came out a few minutes later we where already gone� Well, safe at the train around 00.00 we tried to get some sleep� easier said then done� But we slept a few hours and got to Fredrikshavn early in the morning. We got number 17 written on our hand, and went to find our hotel, who where right around the corner. There weren�t a lot to do in Fredrikshavn on a Saturday� All the shops closed early and it was windy and cold. But we hang around the hall, met Joey who went out for a jogging trip. Met him again a bit later, and got to take a picture with him. When we got into the hall we got first raw places, YEAH! So we had a nice view from the side. Once again an amazing show, it was full of life and fun. They were dancing around on stage and singing all their amazing songs. Patricia was again dancing with the audience on �Love Music �n� Sun�. Jimmy took his time once again to introduce the whole crew, and Sven was again among the most popular on stage� hihi Matthias was having fun smiling to the audience and Marco & Angelo did their fantastic drum solo. Then Marco threw his drum stick to a girl in the audience. Angelo sang the birthday song to a girl in the audience (a birthday everyday of the tour) and then he told us that he didn�t know the birthdays of his own brothers and sisters� He knew a few, but he remembered Kira and his kids, so that was the important thing. We tried to have a little banner during �Blood� by changing the letters we used for our N O R W A Y sign into N O W A R instead� But Jimmy didn�t see it� hehe and we also had some gold stripes and confetti to throw, but it never reached stage, so it was a failed mission� hehe During �Everybody� they all went crazy again, almost felt off stage, but no stage diving this time� Patricia ran around on stage with the Norwegian flag during the whole song (she still thinks it is the Danish flag). In the end as an extra extra extra song Angelo sang �I Can�t Help Myself�. I first thought it would be strange without Paddy there, but the fans took his part of the song, so it was just amazing to be there and hear that song again. Everybody was singing real loud. All the Kellys came out and gave autographs after the concert and talked to the fans. So we told them they did a great job and waved goodbye to the bus when they left. Tired and happy after 3 days in Kelly heaven! |
