An all encompassing feeling
Surrounds me like a mist
On a cold morning
Moving up my body

It searches out my soul
Moving its slender tendrils
Surrounding my heart
Clenching it tight

Encircling through out
A lifeless cavity
An unfeeling entity
That is I

The warmth of the fire
Can not remove the chill
That seeps through my veins
The lonliness enshrouds
