Evan Adams
It is with pleasure that we accomodated Evan Adams like Co-organizer of the Show. Currently medical
student at the University of Calgary, Evan was also the high-speed motorboat many televised and
cinematographic productions, in particular the full-length film Smoke Signals. By his roots of coastal
Salish, Evan Adams acquired a solid base in his advance, which inspired it to incorporate its traditional
styles in its work.
Alanis Obomsawin Alanis Obomsawin Co-animated the Show with Evan Adams. It plays a role of
avant-garde in the fight for the safeguarding of the indigenous cultural inheritance by the activism and
the realization of films. Mrs. Obomsawin worked with the National office of film, carrying out the
documentary ones inspired by her desire to make hear the voice of her people. She wrote, put in
scene and carried out the documentary ones (long measurings) which gained several prices.
Received by the Command of Canada in 1983, Mrs. Obomsawin is currently member of the advisory
group of Television Northern Canada (TVNC) and of the board of directors of Aboriginal Peoples
Televison Network (APTN).

Adam Beach
Adam Beach gracefully
agreed to replace his friend Evan and Co-to animate the ceremonies of fence. Born in Winnipeg
(Manitoba), it grew in the reserve of Dog Creek in Manitoba until the death of his parents. It is married
and is father of a young boy. Achieved actor, Adam played in the film " Dance me Outside ", and took
part like special guest in the televised series of the SRC " North of 60 " and " The Rez ". In 1998,
Adam played in " Smoke Signals ", which is the first full-length film carried out, product, put in scene
and played by autochtones. This film also gained the Award Audience (price of the public) and
Filmmaker' S Trophy (price of the scenario writer) in Sundance Film Festival of 1998.
