A few summers ago, I went on a Mission to Mexico with my church and a few other churches. Most of the missionaries were doctors. We went for about a week and held a lot of medical clinics. Doctors and dentists examined the people there. We sang for them and some of the kids taught us songs in Spanish. We occupied the children by playing games with them and drawing with them. We also had boxes of supplies for them. We gave them medicine, clothes, shoes, and toys. I remember one time when I was helping to put out the shoes. Once the people there saw them, they ran and grabbed as many pairs of shoes as they could. They didn�t care if they fit or if they were men�s or women�s, they just grabbed them. It was sad to see how needy these people in Mexico are. I really want to help these children and donate as many clothes as possible. |
