| John has got to be one of my favourite players. He is a veteran that can do it all. He has the smoothest and sweetest swing out of all the M's. I tend to think of John as a perennial .300 hitter but he's actually a .290, reaching that plateau four times and only managing to hit over .300 twice, now dont get me wrong I love dear Johnny and he one of the best players defensively but he is again one of the players that is overlooked because of what is playing behind him(Ichiro) and what is to his rightn (Boone) but John is a BFG a big friendly giant who doesnt mind not being the center of attention and have some fancy glove work that speaks for itself. |
