Legolas

You've gotta love the pointy ears!:)
"There was a strange Elf clad in green and brown, Legolas, a messenger from his father, Thranduil, the King of the Elves of Northern Mirkwood."
-The Fellowship of the Ring

Orlando Bloom plays Legolas Greenleaf, an elf and member of the fellowship in The Lord of the Rings. He is useful in the fellowship because he is a skilled archer, and has a longbow given to him by Galadriel. Legolas has very keen eyesight and hearing. His steps are light, and he can pass over snow barely leaving a footprint. Legolas's age is debatable, but he is somewhere around 2,000 years old. (Elves cannot die from old age.) He is the son of the Thrranduil, King of Mirkwood, and is a Sindarin/Woodland elf. Legolas means greenleaf in Elvish.

The one and only mowhawk wearing, dwarf befriending, arrow shooting elf! :)
