| Why?: Goku has a heart of gold, and by far the best attitude. His carefree spirit and love for fighting is an interesting blend. As well as his self-sacrificing, unselfish actions. |
| Why?: Gohan started out in a sheltered environment and grew to be the world's strongest figher, and that's while still doing his homework! |

| Okay here's the tie for: 4. Trunks and Goten |

| Why?: Well, aside from being the children of the top two favoirte characters, Trunks and Goten are adorable little fighters, who always have their own adventures. Yes, this number 4 spot also goes to future Trunks. Just because he's gone now, doesn't mean we'll forget his noble actions, especially when it came to his dad, Vegeta. |

| 5. Krillin |
| Why?: The last and final spot in the top 5 goes to Krillin. He's a devoted friend to Goku and Gohan. Always managing to overcome his small stature, Krillin may think he can't be brave without Goku, but he actually exemplifies more courage than he himself understands, with the absence of his best friend Goku. Krillin's positive attitude, and caring, carefree spirit makes him worthy of the top 5. |

| Honorable Mention: Piccolo |
| I think that Piccolo is definitely one of my favorite characters. But, since I decided to only make this a five-spotter, I'll have to make this 'extra category' to get everyone's favorite Namek in here somehow. Why?: Piccolo is a strong fighter, and he grew even stronger after he fused with both Nail and Kami. In fact Piccolo could even hang tough with Frieza in one of his transformations. Piccolo also was very wise to see Gohan's potential and became his first teacher. Piccolo also was a friend to Gohan, and started the charge for the others to help out Gohan in his fight against Cell. |
