Revolution and birth of the Kelmorian EmpireFall of Kelenis Shortly after the Republics formation, the Morian Republic fielded their military and crushed all hostile Kneewok resistance on their planet. After nearly a hundred years of peace and growth, the Kookies had begun exploring the system they now shared with the Terran government when they fell into a state of civil war. Asking the Morians for help, the Morian Republic quickly quelled the rebel resistance in several months with superior technology and remained as a peace keeping force on Kelenis after. On October 15, 2257, corrupt Morian leaders, having discovered Kelenium and its seemingly unlimited properties, soon declared war on the kookies and destroyed their once grand civilization, and turned its entire population into slave labor. The revolution, and rise of the Kel-Morian Empire After 80 years of iron rule and making hundreds of enemies of nearby empires including the new United Terran Emerate. The UTE after the signing of the "Melting Pot Pact" replaced the UN after Earth and its system became the government of a unified empire. The revolution started when a group of 100 Kookie slaves escaped their masters into the many mountian ranges of Kelenis and found stores of weapons hidden since the fall of Kelenis. They used these in frequent gurella raids on minning facilities freeing Kookies from the Morians and increasing their numbers. On Deceber 31st, 2333 at 8pm GMT, Kookie gurellas raided the city of Remus, the new Kelenis capital and at the strike of midnight, had taken control of it as well as its large armories and supply depots. For 5 years, the Kookies grew in strength till nearby empires as well as the UTE joined in against the Republic. At the strike of midnight on December 31, 2338, 5 years after the revolution started, the Morian Republic Ceased to exist. Six months later, on June 24th, the Kel-Morian Empire was born, and still reigns as one of the most powerful empires to this day. |
