We Came Back!

Even after the Volpe's and Harts allowed the Kelly's on the Isle D'Volpe last year for a weekend, they once again offered their hospotality and open arms to these two Rhode Islanders. It was fantastic getting the opportunity to travel back to Maine and once again relax with great friends.

What does the group of pictures above tell us? In short, the weekend in pictures. First the weather was cloudy and then the sun would peek through, then back to cloudy. Second was the new "High Speed Ferry" service the Isle D'Volpe now offers to it's vacationers. (Service provided by HART Transportation & Fishing Guide Services). Once we arrived, exhilerated from the shuttle ride, we reached our accomdations at the "HOTEL D'Volpe". And lastly, we were able to snap a picture or two of some of the many sights this island paradise has to offer.
The weather wasn't like last year but at least it didn't rain enough to keep us couped up inside. Once all six of us gathered on the "isle" it was time for story telling, fishing tales, politics and sports talk. And then Geoff's cell phone rang. It's a long story after that and space prohibits more detail. So sit back and move that mouse around and take a look at a few of our pictures from the ""Isle D'Volpe II" reunion.

Ruth and John were given this great "Floating Bar" by some friends and wanted to blow it up and show it to us. "Ah yes! Let's use the battery powered pump we have. That will save us a lot of time and we won't have to pop a blood vessel trying to inflate the damn thing!" Well that was the thought at least. Good thing one of the Volpe's neighbor's just happened to come canoeing by and knew all about inflateable devises and portable pumps. One hour later I think we finally got that damn thing done. Do you think any of us went in the water that day and used it? You're damn right we didn't.

Cookout time at the Hart's

Great Patio!

Geoff and Maggie had a dream. The "PATIO LIFE STYLE" of the rich & famous. After gaining some Inspiration from their visit to the Kelly's a few months ago their dream was fulfilled. What a wonderful, quite place to relax. And we all did.

Besides feeling like kings and queens on the Isle D'Volpe, we were treated to the finest grilled steaks and salmon filets prepared for us by the world famous gormet chef from Maine, Chez Geoff and topped off with either a fine white wine or robust red.

"OK Gang ... WHAT's NEXT?"

You guys ever notice that I'm not in too many pictures?
Somebody has to "click" the shutter!
