Sam: Well, may we have your decision? Todd: Hey...she's trying to figure out if I mean it.
Todd: That's right isn't it T�a? See, we communicate. Nora: Yes, we have a decision. My client rejects Todd's offer for a trial reconciliation.
Sam: Uh, would you wait just a second here? I'd like to say something on behalf of my client. Come here, come here. I'd just like to say that sometimes in life, you find something that's so special, so wonderful that you just want it, and you take it. And then something happens, either the timing's not right or I don't know, you're scared and you say something stupid or something or someone interferes.
Sam: The point is, is that you lose what you wanted. And sometimes you don't even know why. And you can spend years, maybe even your whole life, wondering what would it have been like if I had only had another chance, a second chance. Now these two people clearly have feelings for each other, they may be a little muddled, a little neurotic but it's clear that they have feelings. Now, if you client walks out on this because she's suffered some hurt in the past, she could be the one who's missing out.
Sam: Todd already knows that T�a is the love of his life. Maybe T�a will find out that he's the love of hers. But isn't it better to find out than spend the rest of your life wondering?
Nora: Our position stands, we have nothing to discuss. Good to see you again Sam. Todd: Now what? I mean, that was some of my best stuff, I was open, I was honest, I was all of that vulnerable garbage. Sam: You did fine pal. Todd: Then how come it wasn't enough? Sam: Cuz Nora and T�a need more.
