Q: What can I expect?
A: We meet at the Wedding Café, located in the Manoa Shopping Center. If this location is inconvenient, we can arrange a mutually agreeable time for a phone consultation or select an alternate location. During the initial consultation, we will discuss the scope of your event and determine what services you desire. From this information, we can determine which (if any) package would best suit your unique situation. All initial consultations are not only completely free but an excellent opportunity for the bride & groom to take advantage of a wedding coordinator. Please bring with you ideas, vendor information, questions, suggestions, pictures, etc. and feel free to ask for vendor recommendations, referrals, ideas, suggestions, etc. We hope that you get as much out of this meeting as possible. As we realize not everyone can afford a wedding planner/coordinator for the planning process, this is how we help as many people as possible. If you are interested in future meetings and/or securing our services, we offer a number of packages (listed below) which we hope will meet your needs. Customized services are also available.
1) One-Time Meeting with a Wedding Planner:
- This is a 2 Hour meeting to go over you ideas and develop a plan. (additional hours available)
- This is a great way to start the planning process if you just aren’t sure where to start. (Meeting at the Wedding Cafe in Manoa Marketplace)
2) Email-Consultation Package:
- Unlimited communication with a wedding planner via e-mail ONLY. We will recommend vendors, give tips, answer questions and help you make informed choices.
- This package is best suited for couples who want to do most of their research and planning on their own or does most of their wedding planning on-line. Organized and detail oriented couples with enough time on their hands who don’t feel the need or have the time to talk to a Coordinator or just wants someone with experience to provide peace of mind would be best suited for this package.
3) Consultation Package:
- Communication with a wedding planner via phone and e-mail. Also 10 hours of meetings included. I will recommend vendors, give tips, answer questions and help you make informed choices.
- This package is best suited for couples who might not know where or how to start or find themselves not sure how to continue. Couples who want to do most of their research and planning, enjoy the contact and personalized attention from face-to-face meetings, and want an experienced coordinator to provide peace of mind would be best suited for this package.
4) Wedding Planner Package:
- Communication with a wedding planner via phone and e-mail. A minimum of 20 hours of meetings to use throughout the planning process up to 2 days prior. Recommends, contacts, secures, confirms, and follows up with vendors… Secures meetings and price lists. A wedding planner becomes your personal wedding assistant. Rehearsals, ceremony and reception not attended. (Possible vendor discounts may be provided.)
- This package is best suited for couples who have someone to coordinate their big day, but are looking for assistance in all other aspects of the planning process and want the peace of mind knowing that they are getting their money’s worth.
5) On-Site Coordinator Package:
- The total planning time for this package is approximately... 30 hours.
- The total charge is dependent upon the actual time incurred.
- One time ceremony and reception site tour, meeting to develop the wedding day timeline and cover details, preparation and distribution of time line to all vendors, organize and submit final payments to vendors, review of all vendor contracts, confirmation call to each vendor prior to the wedding day, determine possible vendors in the event of last minute cancellations, rehearsal attendance (one hour), attendance and coordination of the ceremony (making sure everyone is in place), attendance and coordination of the reception, coordination of vendors, friendly reminders and updates to “helpers,” 1 coordinator’s assistant, troubleshooting, coordination starts 3 months prior, Wedding Day coordination (no time limit), and use of Emergency Kit.
- Treating you like the King and Queen of your big day and allowing you to enjoy every moment to the fullest, while A Perfect Day ensures that all your requests are carried out. This includes the Rehearsal, Ceremony and Reception. This package is for the couple that has devoted their time and hard work to plan their event to the last detail, but want to allow not only friends and family to enjoy their big day, but themselves as well.
6) Wedding Planner & On-Site Coordinator Package:
- This package includes everything in both the Wedding Planner Package and On-Site Coordinator Package.
- This package is designed for the couples who want to feel the excitement and enjoyment of not only being engaged but the entire planning process from the moment they begin till their wedding day (and hopefully well beyond). Those couples that don’t have the time or want a professional to handle one of the biggest events in their lifetime while having full control would be best suited for this package.
