About the GRE
The GRE General Test measures critical thinking, analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are not related to any specific field of study.
How and Where to Register
It is recommended that students arrange a date and time for their GRE test prior to starting tutoring. This allows lesson plans and tutoring sessions to be scheduled within a concrete time frame. Registration is ultimately, of course, the student's decision and some students would rather receive tutoring first to better plan the time they will need before registering for the test.
There are three ways to register for the exam.
     -   Online
     -   Over the phone
           Call the test center directly or call 1-800-GRE-CALL
            (1-800-473-2255) Mon. - Fri. 8am-8pm
     -   Mail
           Download and compete voucher form from ETS website
