I began the nursing program at the local college, worked part time at the nursing home, and volunteered for our local caged bird organization...(did I forget to mention that my husband and I raise birds?)
When I began having stress-related health problems, I saw my doctor. When my medical problems escalated above stress, I saw an alternative medicine doctor. I found the information I was looking for, the help I needed and the relief I expected.
Many doctors will screen you for cancers and health problems. Most doctors will run an incredible number of expensive tests to find the cause. However, very, VERY few doctors will tell you that many of our most common illnesses (migraines, asthma, allergies, even cancer) are caused by toxic chemicals found as close as the bar of soap your family washes their face and hands with.
Most of our personal care products in our medicine cabinet are harmful on a long-term scale.

I decided I couldn't live a healthy lifestyle under these circumstances. I began searching for a work at home business that I could actually support and that would support me. With the promise of the much needed time with my children, I answered an add to the Staying Home and Loving it program. I became a member in November, converted my home to CARCINOGEN-FREE, kid-safe, pet-safe products and am loving every minute of sharing the opportunity of better health with anyone and everyone!
"The old cole miners had a system. When they went to the bottom of a mine, they would take a couple of canaries in a cage. When the canaries dropped, it was time to leave.
I remember my grandpa telling us this. Now, I can see the sense to it. When the toxic gas or fumes build up to an unsafe level, the canary will die. This is too true to home...
One afternoon the phone rang. The voice on the other end asked if I would be available for a visit...ok, sure... So I frantically started picking up odds and ends, toys and such around the house. (Please tell me everyone does this...) I Febreezed the couches and Lysoled by the bird cages. Shortly after, my finches and canaries began to fall onto the bottom of the cage. I didn't use much lysol, but obviously too much. Since then, we had not been able to use any cleaner other than bleach and vinegar. It was too risky. Our birds live WITH us. Now, we have found out that bleach is very harmful as well.
When we found these products, it was a real blessing. We now have NO fears of harming our family, children, pets, etc.
Just think, by talking to 8 people that wash their hair, brush their teeth, wash their windows, or mop their floors, you could make a substantial monthly income. I had never been approached with these questions but would gladly have answered YES to any and all of them.
