B˘mlo is the island where I spent my childhood and where we
now have a chalet. My husband loves boating in and out of the little fjords
and there's a lot of fish to get. My part is the top righthand picture.
The main industry is fishing, but there are also some boat industries. In
a few years time, we'll be connected to the mainland through underwater-tunnels
and bridges. It was from this island that the first Norwegian kings came,
actually the oldest church in Norway is also to be found here.
