Chapter Four
Things Change
      Last year at this time I thought my Bio. was done and I would just add things in my Diary. But as the title says Things Change. Since May of 2004 there have been so many things happening to me that I decided to just add another Chapter.I do hope to start the Diary up again this year but the way things are changing who knows.
2004 To 2005
Alphabet Soup
   Over the past Year It seems my life is a searies of letters, so I guess you now can call me
Kelly Jean Walsh,CD.,TG.,TS,HRT,KB.,DEs         CD  Back at the start of 2000 I probably thought I was a CD (crossdresser)because that was all that I knew about. But once I got my Computer I found out a lot more about myself. I now know that a CD is a male who dresses in female clothing mostly for the fun of it .Even though I do enjoy wearing fem.clothing, it is not the main reason that I dress. For me I do it because I feel should dress as a woman.
TG   By April I have been all over the net and figure that I was at least a TG(transgender) is a person who feels that they were born in the wrong body and wishes to lived as the sex that they feel they are. Since I always felt that I was never was in the right body its like I am in a play and playing the wrong part. So I started to look for places on the web to go and meet people who had the same Ideas as I did .At the end of April I met the person who would help me become the person that I am today(so blame her). Her name is Cheri(I know that when she sees this she will say that she really had nothing to do with it but she did.
TS (Transsexual) Is a person who also feels that they were born in the body of the wrong sex but will by means of drugs and operations correct the problem. Cheri would be called a pre-op Transsexual she is planing to have the Operations by the end of 2005/2006 . We met on line and we hit it off as soon as we talk . She not only help me to know more about myself ,but now I knew that I had a friend.And She has proved that to me over the past year in many ways.One of the first things she did was to help me find a doctor who started me on HRT.
HRT Is a program of drugs that rid your body of male hormones and increase the level of Female Hormones in your body that will result in changes in your body. Some of them will be a softening of the skin and enlargement of the breast. Also also your emontions will become a lot more like a female.
    I went to the Doctor that Cheri recomended and after a physical and some blood work the Doctor talk to me about what I should expect  to happen over time, She then gave me my Perscriptions and I started the program in mid May
    After that I told Cheri that I wanted to start goin out as Kelly Jean. She told me about a group that she was with at that time called KB
 KB Kappa Beta is a group in Charlotte NC that meets once a month and is open to CD,s TG,s and TS,s. I went to my first meeting at the end of May. Other then a few times at night or in a place that no one would see me I have never been out as Kelly Jean. The main reason was because I was afraid that some one would say something. In fact I was so scare I almost did not go but Cheri came two hours out of her way to pick me up.We went to the Hotel and change and then after the meeting we all went out to eat I was so scare. But when a couple walk by us they just smile and nodded there heads I then knew it was OK .We went to a resturant and had a nice meal and from there we went to a club for drinks I had a wonderful time there in fact some man try to pick me up we left right after that. Since that night I have gone out many times and now started to look for other places to go to just so I can go out as Kelly Jean. 
  Me and Cheri would talk on line almost every day and we would talk about almost anything. But one day we started talking about Something Serious. DES and what that drug did to her and could be doing to you and me.
DES Between 1948 and 1972 DES was a drug given to woman to prevent miscarages, but there was side effects for their children.Some of the side effects were Cancer and Sexual problems, also there are studies that show that it cause Chromosomes dammage leading to Transgenderism.(see the links on my links page)
     Cheri told me how her mother was given the drug and now she has found out that she is XXY. That means that she should have been born a female but due to the extra Y she develop as a male. I am going to have to find out more about what happen to me and if that will explane why I am the way I am.
   There are a few more letters that I might be adding to my name in the next few years.
          TA / FFS / SRS
TA Trans_America this is a group that I am in that is trying to help CD's TG's and TS's get and to keep there jobs. And with the climate in this country now it could become important for all of us.
 FFS This is the one major surgery that I hope to be able to affored.FFS is Femminine Facial Surgery is just Plastic Surgery to make your face look more feminine. The cost is about 25 to 30 thousand but i do hope to be able to affored that since it would make the bigest diference in my looks.
 SRS This is the big one SRS is Sexual Reasidement Surgery The cost is well over 50 thousand  so I do not think I will ever have that kind of money.But if I can get the rest done I will be a happy girl.
The End I Hope
I will try to keep the Diary going this time but since I do have a lot going on in the next year I will not make any promisses. But if I can not, expect another page added to the Bio.

1
