Rules & Regulations – 2003 ***Rosters
must be called into the commissioner at least 1 hour prior to the kick-off of
the first NFL game of the weekend.
i.
No team has to hold or draft a franchise player for their roster.
ii.
The franchise player must be drafted as a franchise player. He cannot
be purchased or traded for.
iii.
Once the player is no longer a franchise player, he can never be a
franchise player again.
iv.
Teams must declare before the draft begins if they intend to keep their
franchise player, if they do, this player will become their 5th
pick.
v.
New franchise players are designated at the end of the draft. If a franchise player was designated at the
beginning of the draft, that player must remain your franchise player. You
cannot change franchise players at the end of the draft.
vi.
Quarterbacks are not eligible for Franchise Players. B. Expansion or Replacement of
Leaving Owners
C. Roster Requirements
** May play up to 3 of either WR or RB, then 2 of
the other position.

FFL players must
play at the position they are listed as on the official NFL roster. So a NFL QB, who also plays WR, if he is
listed as a QB
on the NFL roster, must play as a QB on the FFL team. D. Trades 1.
Trades are allowed between franchises free of charge. Trades must be reported to the commissioner
one hour before the kick-off of that week’s games for the traded players to be
eligible. 2.
Money may be exchanged in addition to players. 3.
No trades are allowed after the completion of week seven. E. Player Purchases 1.
If any franchise wishes to purchase a player not yet on another
franchises roster, contact the commissioner and the player can be purchased for
$3.00. Quarterback teams are $5. First come, first serve. The commissioner will contact the assistant
commissioner for player purchases. 2.
Purchasing is closed from the kickoff of the week’s first game until 3.
Franchises may buy players from another franchise’s roster, with the
approval of the franchise. This will be
considered a form of a trade, and thus not permitted after week seven. F. Injured Reserve 1.
Our fantasy league will keep its own injured reserve. 2.
You may place any player listed as injured (spokesman-review or
official list at NFL.com) on the FFL injured reserve. Cost for this is $1 per week. 3.
When activated the player picked up must be cut. (You may not cut an alternate player on your
roster) G. Disputes 1.
All disputes will be settled by a vote of the franchises. Majority rules. A vote ending in a tie will be resolved by a
meeting of the franchise owners, if this is not possible or a decision cannot
be reached the commissioner will resolve the dispute. 2.
All rule changes must be approved by a majority of the franchise
owners. Rule changes may be proposed at
anytime, during the season or the off-season.

Defensive Team also counts
as Special Teams. Special teams
touchdowns subject to scoring scale for defensive points. If a player is on
both a special teams and drafted as an individual, both franchise will receive
points. *** Players who play both offense and defense
will only be awarded points scored on the offense. I.
Playoffs 1.
Season ending record ties will be resolved first by head to head
record. Secondly, by the total of the
head to head games points. Thirdly, by
division records. If all of the above
are still ties, the winner will be decided total points scored. 2.
If there is a tie of a playoff game, the tie will be broken by the
total points of all 13 active players on each franchise’s rosters. If this is still a tie, total yardage of the
7 players (defense doesn’t count) will be used.
The third tiebreaker will be based on the two teams’ defenses. Each turnover counting as one point. If all of the above
are still ties the winner will be decided by a flip of the coin. 3.
Week 15 will be the 2nd place team against the 3rd
place team in each division. The first
place team receives a bye. 4.
Week 16 will be the winner of the wild card against the regular season
division winner. 5.
Week 17 will be the playoff division winners against each other in the
Fantasy Bowl. J.
Toilet Bowl 1.
The four teams that do not make the playoffs will play in a toilet
bowl. 2.
Week 15. Each Division’s #4 and
#5 place teams will play. Winner advances. 3.
Week 16. Winner of previous
week’s play-off will play in the Toilet Bowl K. Money 1.
Each year the beginning fee is $35.00 per franchise. This fee must be paid before the draft
begins, or the team not paying will lose their first round draft pick. 2.
Each game lost will cost the franchise one dollar. Each tie will cost the franchise one dollar. 3.
All money owed must be paid in total by 4.
Money will be paid out after it is won.
Teams cannot deduct what they know they have won, from what they owe. 5.
Payouts are as follows: ·
$75 to each regular season division winner and $30 to each second place
regular season division finisher. ·
$50 to the Toilet Bowl winner. ·
The winner of the fantasy bowl will win 70% of the remaining balance;
the loser will receive 30%. 6.
All money will be paid out after the fantasy bowl. |
