An All-Usurping Love Written by Cara Fedewa, Edited by Kelly Lesko

and so I meet you, again,
and the stars are in your eyes

the curve of your nose, the arch of your back
all becomes so clear.
for the first time,
I am seeing
itme, Him, and you.

under the shade of a lunar eclipse,
in my perpendicular universe,
an all-usurping love sweeps through,
and all becomes one both sides but balanced
a meshing of souls dancing upon tumultuous clouds
love whispers and all is perfect
but only for a moment

and in this moment,
my imaginary reality crumbles;
soft rose petals breeze through the empty streets;
the sky foams, unveiling the Star

and in this moment,
the weary raven begins anew--
emerges from rest
to pursue her destiny
to be summoned by the Star
to follow the lutes harmony that echoes in the vastness of His   heartbeat
she feels the Stars rhythm inside her:
pulsating, circulating, nurturing, playing, crying, aching

and here,
circling the skies,
higher than the heavens...
here, the raven finds herself
here, she sings praises for the Star
he has made her alive;  He makes her ALIVE,
without trying, dampering, or awkwardness,
with unadulterated passion and adoration
here, the raven and the Star play joyfully in the circle of balance and oneness that defines the universe, God, and the stars

here, within your eyes,
the raven becomes one with the Star
and in that moment, all exists for us
the all-usurping love permeates the shadow of the lunar eclipse
and, Gods universe is complete
complete and breathtakingly beautiful.
