These pictures are from short trips I took to Greece, Germany, Austria, Hungary and England while I was living in France. I've also included some pictures from Paris and hopefully I'll add some more of our weekend excursions within France soon.

Heather and I decided not to pay for a hotel our last night in Athens, Greece, because our plane left for France so early in the morning. So we spent the night wandering around Athens. Eventually, we went to sit on this street bench and listen to music and write about our weekend. The towel is over our leges because we were both wearing skrits, and we weren't sure how good that was in a big city in the middle of the night while sitting on a street bench :) This picture was taken by a random guy who came up to us and started talking. One of the guys sat and talked to Heather in English while the other and I chatted in French until 3 a.m. when we had to go catch the bus to the airport. It was a strange night :)

Julie and me on one of the Greek Islands... I'll look up which one and get back to you on that, because we visited three that day and I can't remember which one this was :)

We took a ferry from Cherbourg, France, to Portsmouth, England, and then rode the bus to London to spend the weekend... a word of warning, London's youth hostels are overpriced and not very clean!

Julie, Geraldine, me and Heather, near the Olympic stadium in Munich, Germany.

Heather, Julie, Shelley, Geraldine and me, doing the "coo-coo" thing from the Sound of Music at the Miribilis Garden in Salzburg, Austria.

Shelley, Geraldine and Julie, near the gazebo from the Sound of Music in Austra.

Shelley and me, warm despite the snow high in the Alps in Austria :)

Who would have thought it would be warm enough to get a tan at the top of the Alps when there was still snow on the ground?

Me, in front of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Shelley and me in front of Notre Dame de Paris.

The usual type of weather in Normandy... You can kind of see the Normandy Bridge in the background, which links Haute-Normandie and Basse-Normandie (upper and lower Normandy). I lived in the capital of Basse-Normandie.
