American Idol...Hee Haw

The theme tonight was Country and again I thought the song choices were a bit weird. I few really shined and the rest put me to sleep.
Kenny Rogers was the guest coach this week and I thought he looked much younger than I remembered. I think he had some work done and I say, good for him!
Taylor started things off with a very weak performance of "Country Roads". Country music just doesn't seem to fit him but nothing he could sing would change my opinion of him. He has true talent and I just love him to death. He looked great and even when the judges were harsh wih him he didn't seem to really mind. He knows who he is and loves what he does.
Mandisa was next and she wasn't very strong tonight. I had trouble hearing her and the low parts were terrible. I also hated the song choice...where is the Mandisa I loved a few weeks ago?
Elloitt sounded so beautiful! He did "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and his voice was flawless. Wow! He also had some help with his hair this week, thank God.
Paris looked so pretty tonight. Her personality is adorable and her voice is powerful. "How Do I Live" is a really hard song (I know cause I sing it in the shower) and I thought she was great.
Ace sang a Keith Urban song, "I Want to Cry" and I have to admit it is a song I love. I actually have the video on my site. Ace picked a beautiful song and he brought tears to my eyes.
Kellie did her thing tonight. No big surprises that she did well. She chose "Fancy" and did a great job. My ony problem with it was she did it just like Reba. She sould have tried to change it a bit. She had the cutest top on....she may act like a hick but she sure doesn't look like one. She looked young, sexy and confident.
Chris also chose a Keith Urban song. His voice is always amazing and tonight was no different. He has the look and sound of a star. I wish he would have the rocked the song a bit because I felt his performance was sort of boring. He still can really do no wrong.
Katharine was the best of the night! Flawless, hot and on her way to the top three. She picked the right song and it was exciting and different. The tone of her voice is lovely and I can see her becoming another Kelly.
Bucky...what can I say. I always enjoy him. He makes you want to like him and want to root him on. He doesn't have the vocal talent to continue much longer but I will miss him when he's gone.
My prediction for the bottom three tomorrow night
Bucky
Mandisa
Elliott
I think Bucky will go home:(
