I finally have a real day off. Sunday didn't count because I spent it catering to everyone but me.  I need a day just for me and this is it. It is sunny and I feel rested and ready to do whatever I choose.
    I have a stove  being delivered this morning so I got all the grossness cleaned up from behind my old one. The one I have now is fairly new but Jamie was climbing up to a cupboard above the stove to reach the cake decorating stuff and fell on top of it. She was fine but my stove was not. I couldn't really get mad at her because she was baking my Birthday cake. 
    My family is going to the Bruins game tonight in Boston. They have great seats just two rows from the ice right in the center. Guess why I'm not going? Hmmm....three reasons.  First of all I really hate hockey and  how cold it is at the arena.  Secondly, it wll be very nice to have some time to myself to just relax. I am going to the gym at 5:00 and then the rest of the night is mine. Perhaps a bath, a drink and a good book. But, the most important reason for skipping the game is because I am a great big dork who cannot miss American Idol!
