Day of Rest

Last night I went to bed remembering the Sunday's of my childhood. We always had time for a big breakfast, went to church and then spent the day visiting with loved ones. It never felt rushed. It was a day of rest.
Now, here is my "day of rest"
8:00am -Went grocery shopping
9:30am -Off to Jamie's lacrosse game which was about a 90 minute drive(got lost once)
11:00am-froze my butt off cheering for my girl(they lost 2-11)
1:00pm -Jamie and I went out for lunch
1:30pm -Stopped at the mall to get Jamie her Easter outfit($100.00 gone in minutes)
3:30pm -Dropped Jamie off at home, ran in to pee and off to the hospital(an hour drive)
5:00pm -Left Jess feeling sad
6:00pm -Went to the gym to work out for an hour
7:30pm -Got home, made some supper and finally sat down.
9:00pm -Closed my eyes and longed for peace.
I'm not saying my day was bad because it wasn't. I am blessed and I thank God every day for the loved ones in my life. I just feel tired. I am mentally and physically exhausted. Something's gotta give!
