Chapter Six
Back

Akira started laughing as he picked up one of the identification cards. Listen to this. This kid has a letter as well Dear Mom and Dad; as you know I came to Graceful Betrayal to stop the killing. But once I got here Ive realized one thingthey cant be stopped. I watched two of them the other day, the two males, in town. Complete and trained killers. Their motions were so fluent, so perfect. I dont know how the people in this place can live in such fear with out being able to leave. Im scared and wish I could come home. But I know I cant. I love you. Your son, Christifer. Aw, aint that sweet.

You can be so cold Akira. You too Seid. Tekk turned to her brother as he started laughing. Men. She rolled her eyes and walked off.

Tekk, Akira dropped the letter and walked after her. A cold wind blew taking the letter with it; a childs lost parents never knowing what happened to him. Never knowing his fate fell to the hands of what had become the most feared thing on the planet to date.

What? she turned to Akira.

Tekk, where are you going; thats all I want to know. He asked quietly.

Back to the base, thats where. She walked away.

Okay. Akira nodded and turned back to the city to hear Seid laugh.

She showed you.

Fuck you. He looked to the empty street. There will be more of them soon.

Yeah, Seid looked back to where his sister was walking. Yeah.

Tekk walked calmly to the place that the three had finally begun to call a home. Benji was sitting at the table going through some paperwork of some sort. Tekk couldnt see, as soon as he saw her though, he scrambled to get it back in the folder and held it tightly in his hands. Tekk!

What? she looked at him coldly. She never did like him. She knew he liked her and it made her sick.

Nothing. Where are the boys?

Where do you think? she walked past him and down to his parents old room. Theyll be back shortly. Im going to bed.

Okay, he watched her close the door behind her and breathed a sigh of relief. So they still hadnt found what they were looking for. What ever that was?
