Two Months Later

�It�s too quiet.� Tekk� looked around the corner of the building. �Shit! Where�d they go?! They were just here!�
�What?! They�re not there anymore?� Akira looked over Tekk�s shoulder around the corner. The street was empty. Not a soul in sight when just a few seconds before there had been a few agents chasing them. �This isn�t good Tek. Those damn agents were just behind us!�
�Thanks for pointing that out to me Akira!� she looked at him with a rather an-noyed look of her face. �That�s it the couch!�
�What?� he asked confused. �What are you talking about?�
�Fight later you two!� Seid� ran by them with the agents of his tail. Akira bolted after Seid�, but Tekk� stayed where she was till they ran by. Calmly she stepped into the road and fired upon the agents. She dropped two of them before the third one turned to fire on Tekk�. Seid� turned and with a kick to the side of the head dropped the man to the ground. �Well?� he leveled the pistol on the man.
�Well what Cyborg?!� he growled back. �I won�t tell you a fucking thing!�
�That made my day.� Akira crossed his arms. �We weren�t trying to be mean. Do we call you names Human?� the two boys laughed.
�Stop playing with him.� Tekk� pushed her brother aside and with out hesitation shot the man in the head.
�That�s always a solution.� Seid� said as he turned. �There will be more soon.�
�Ah, come on, Tek! Jeez, you always have to kill them before we get to torture them first!�
�We torture them enough with the simple thought that they think they will be able to catch us.� She shoved the weapon back in her pants as Akira crossed his arms.
�Seid�, why does your sister have to be right all the time?�
�Because she�s my sister.� He looked off down the street. �Yup, here they come.� Just as he finished, a black Sadan turned the corner on to the road. �Yup, yup, yup,� he calmly leveled the pistol, using his arm as a rest and aimed for the front of the vehicle. �Bang.� He said quietly as he pulled the trigger.
The windshield in the car cracked and broke and a second later the car crashed off into one of the new buildings. Two agents stumbled from the passenger side of the car and one from the back seat of the driver�s side. The last one had blood coursing from a gash on his forehead.
�Alright!� Akira jumped in the air. �Close range combat.� He walked past Tekk� towards the three men gun in hand, but his arm at his side. The three agents all scrambled for weapons when they realized Akira was walking towards them, but Akira was quicker. He broke into a run and kicked the gun from the hand of the first one he came across. The second one went to grab him, but Akira ducked and side kicked him back into the third guy, knocking both of them over. With a laugh, he raised the gun on the man standing and cocked the hammer back. �Bye.� He spoke calmly as he pulled the trigger and in one fluent motion turned and killed the other two before they even realized he had killed the first one.
�Why does he play with them?�
�I don�t know, Seid�, why do you play with them? Why did you play with that Burns kid for three years?�
�Eh,� he shrugged. �I was bored Tekk�, that�s why. But he can�t possibly be bored, can he?�
�How am I supposed to know?� Tekk� shrugged. �Come on, we should get down to the sewer before more show up.� She started to walk off, followed by her brother.
�Good idea,� he nodded as they passed Akira who was busy going through wal-lets and forms of identification.
�Hey, lookie what I found!� he stood up. �A front door pass to the base. Uw, we killed an important person! I�m keeping this one!�
�Oh brother,� Tekk� rolled her eyes. �You can put it with the rest of them at the sewer.�
�What?! Are you kidding?! There is no way I am putting this in with��
�Shut up! Do what she says Akira, god, I�m so sick of your whining! Man, Tekk� how do you put up with it!?�
She shrugged. �Idon�tknow.�
Things fell quiet once again as the three walked down the roads and to the tunnel. Down through the dark depths that they had grown used to and preferred actually, to even the dimmed light of the house in the sewer. Finally they arrived back at the small square room and slipped their glasses back on before they pushed open the door. Benji sat at the table where they had left him that morning, still rummaging through some cards and pa-pers he had managed to get over the past couple of months. He looked up. �I see you�ve returned early today. Kill anybody?�
�A whole bunch of people!� Akira threw the cards on the table. �You should have seen it! It was great.� He had a huge grin on his face.
�What an idiot.� Tekk� rolled her eyes. �I�m going to take a nap.� She walked off as the two boys sat at the table with Benji.
Benji watched Tekk� walk away. �Some times I wonder what it�s like to be the only female in a group of males.� He laughed. �And sometimes I wonder what it is she sees in you Shi.�
�That�s not funny.� Akira pulled some more of the cards from his pocket. �She sees something. How am I supposed to know what. The female is a complicated crea-ture.�
Seid� nodded. �Yeah, she�s still pissed at me because I supposedly left her at the lab. I didn�t even know I had a sister till I woke up one day to see her sitting on a table in the room the scientists had thrown me in. It must be really rough for Tekk� to be with us all the time and have no other females.�
�Yeah,� Akira nodded. �But anyway, I was thinking. Were you ever told your reason of creation, Seid�? I was mine and it never fully made sense to me.�
�I was told that the purpose of our creation was to destroy people from the Special Forces. Plain and simple.� He nodded and picked up one of the cards. �Jeez, this guy�s only nineteen years old. That�s fucking crazy.�
�Right. To kill anybody that might be in or involved with the Special Forces. Now we�ve killed a lot of people, how come it seems to me that the Forces are endless.�
�Probably because they are. That�s why they want you guys.� Benji picked up a card as well. �Ha, eighteen Seid�. They know how powerful you are and once they get their hands on you and can create that army they want to, they will be unstoppable. So, even though this is a fight for your lives, what you�re doing isn�t all that bad.�
�It still doesn�t make sense to me as to why the Special Forces would want to do this at all. Kill a president, drop a Colony, kill a kid, try to take over the world. What for?� Akira shook his head and sighed.
�World domination has always been in the Human sub-consciousness some where, these guys have figured out how to bring it out completely and have learned how to use it to their own benefit. Even if that means killing whatever stands in their way. Even if that means killing us.� Seid� stated calmly.
�That makes no sense though, Seid�. I guess I really just don�t understand this whole thing.�
�None of us really understand this thing.�
�Huh?� the three boys turned to see Tekk� standing in the hallway, leaned against the wall. �I�ve heard your entire conversation. And there�s no way to explain this situa-tion. The best thing to do is to sit back and play each day as it comes by. Don�t try to lean too far into the future; you might get lost. It�s easier to let things come to you.�
�What are you talking about Tekk�?� Seid� turned to her. �You�re the one who�s pissed because you can�t sit back and relax.�
�I know that!� she looked at him. �But you�re over there trying to be all poetic and such, who you trying to impress?�
�I�m not trying to impress anyone.� He said quietly. �Tekk� I don�t want to fight with you right now. I�ll talk to you later if you want to fight. We�re trying to figure out the true intent of the Special Forces.�
�Oh boy.� Tekk� rolled her eyes. �You do that. Don�t you get it guys? The true intent of the Special Forces is to either capture us for their military plans or kill us. It�s that simple.�
Akira rolled his eyes. �Tek we know that.�
�Then what�s the problem?! This whole conversation is for nothing if you know that already!�
The three boys just looked at her calmly. None of them said a word as Tekk� looked from one to the other all in turn. �Well, doesn�t one of you have to say something about how stupid you�re being? If you know that the only reason the Special Forces are after us is to either kill us or lead that army they want to create based on us, then why the big discussion on what our purpose in this hell hole is? Think about this. We kill these Agents left and right, no problem. Hell, we play with them for the fun of it. Image if they had a whole army of us. Unstoppable cybernetic creations whose whole purpose for liv-ing is to kill! Then what would stop them?! What stops them now?�
�We do.� Seid� stood up. �Tekk� what we need to do is get into the base and kill them from the inside out!�
�Yeah!� Akira stood up, slamming his fist on the table.
�Ah�� Tekk� looked at them. Her point had gone right in one ear and out the other.
�Can you say suicide?� Benji looked at all three of them in turn.
The three all looked at him, then to each other. Tekk� smiled, apparently rethink-ing her earlier plan over again. �Let�s do that, Bro, let�s do just that.�
