| One of my friends wrote this to me when I was struggling the most. May it encourage you the way that it has encouraged me over and over! If you want, print it out and carry it with you! The bottom line remains the same. God must be THE Lord of our lives. Anything less than that is sin. Anything less than that is looking our Creator, our Abba Father, Our Savior, in the face and spitting at the only One in the world Who loved us enough to diefor this sin. No choice exists- because I can see Jesus on that cross right now. Every bone in his body, every muscle, every joint every breath fought for cried out to him Come down! The physical body and mind of Jesus ached to be released from the temporary pain as the soldiers and crowd touted Him If you really are the Son of God, then call on your Father to get you off this cross let them angels of yours help you now And that precious man, fully God yet fully man, Who had never hurt a single person with a harsh word, or look or even thought, Who loved and healed and gave life and commanded the waves. stayed up there for me and for you. Because He looked across the years and saw a young lady, Kelly, who would suffer with the sin of anorexia and who would need forgiveness. And looked across the years and saw you , ______, who would suffer with the sin of ___________. And for the sake of love, this man took those sins upon Himselfand the Lamb was slain. Forsaking what His body and mind wanted to do, He instead did what His heart knew was the right thing to do Our God is an awesome God How can we do anything less than love Him? -- Love Him with our heart, our soul, our mind, our strength, and our body! - By Tammie March 8, 1998 My prayer for you is that something in this website will spark a flame inside of you that wants to be free from the chains that have held you captive. God loves you and wants to change you! Hang in there, and let God fight your battles for you! (Exodus 14:14) His love and healing are amazing! ge yo Lots of love, Kelly |
