| 'For you who couldn't attend a party
for
whatever reason, you are in for a treat when it is finally released. At least that is my opinion, guess I can only speak for myself. Personally I think it was interesting and I like this album a lot. It's the kind that will keep growing on me as the new sound will take a while to get used to but my overall impression is that it is dark, sad and sometimes even haunting but at the same time it's beautiful, fun, danceable and tongue in cheek. | 'If you're expecting flashes of
Savage Garden, a resemblance of that Truly
Madly Deeply or I Knew I Loved You guy, look elsewhere. If you're hoping to hear a simile of the Insatiable lushness and sexiness, sorry, it's not here. What you will find is as familiar as coming home again - Darren's voice, and to my ears, used in a different way on some tracks. The inflections, highs and lows, catch your ear, make you stay with it, waiting for the next one. Also, if it's that trademark falsetto you seek, sorry, not much of that either, but more of a mid range vocal and it's perfect. In the talk afterwards, Darren remarked
