TIPS
ON REQUESTING
 |
| 1. Stick to stations in you
local listening area or stations that broadcast online. If you can
"listen online" they expect to get requests from all over the world so
it is ok, just be careful that you actually listen to the station.
We want to keep it honest for Darren. |
| 2. Phone calls are so much
more honest then email requests. When at all possible, please ring in your
requests. |
| 3. Use the Radio Station link
which you will find at the bottom of the page. You will find all
radio stations in your local aread plus those you can listen to online
which are clearly marked. But please really listen to the station for a
few minutes before requesting to find out they type of music they are playing
at the time. There might be a special program going on. Find
out the name of the DJ and request directly to them. |
| 4. Email requests or use online
requesting forms only if you can't phone in. |
| 5. DO NOT MASS EMAIL your
requests to more then one station at a time. This will do more damage
then good. |
| 6. Personalise the emails
by using the DJs name, metion something that happened at the station.
Make it known you are a real listener. |
| 7. Don't email the same DJ
more then once a week. Don't email the same station more then twice
a week. |
| 8. If you hear one of Darren's
songs played on your local station, ring them up and thank them.
They love positive feedback. |
