Procedures:
- We will invite parents to come and
celebrate our completion of “Community Helper and Transportation” unit. This will be a time that students will show
and share what they have learned.
- Students will share what they know
about different modes of transportation and various community helpers. Students will also share pieces of work that
they have been compiling during the last two weeks.
- I will be giving students various
opportunities to answer and ask questions. The
students will be responsible for sharing and learning from each other
during this time.
- After the students have shared, the
students will be divided up into groups to play small board games that
ask questions about community helpers and transportation.
Some of the questions will not have a correct or incorrect
answer. The students just need to back up
their reasoning.
- After the students have shared and
played the game we will have a “Keep on Rolling” party to end our
celebration.

I will be assessing their collaborations. It
will be gained through their products and
the contributions to our discussions.
